Good evening sir. It's been a while but I saw a CRST O/O driving a cabover. Do they not allow cabovers anymore? I have been restoring one for 2 years now and it's like new. Overhauled, transmission, clutch. A lot of new parts.
It has to be less than 20 years old. If you seen one older than that, the guy has been here a long time once you’re in you’re in, but they won’t take on a new truck or a new owner operator with a truck more than 20 years old.
Hey quick question I'm down in Birmingham at orientation for CRST Do you run a 53 with sliding axle they are telling us you can't run the 53 spread thru Indiana we have to close it to run the Indiana

Well welcome aboard… Whoever told you that is an idiot, the only place you can’t run our 53 spread axles is Florida (without the $10 permit) and California…. that I know of… Listen, it’s a circus at orientation and it’s taught by a handful of Burger King manager rejects that don’t really know what they’re doing. Just keep your head down. Answer the questions the way they want and get the hell out of there and just get to work!!!! The rest of the company is totally awesome and orientation is NOT a good representation of what waits for you once you get out the door in Birmingham trust me

I just got a truck today paid 50k cash. 2018 cascadia with 376,000 miles and 9700 hours. It has a tripac apu. I should be going to orientation in a few weeks. I was wondering about something. When you say to have agents checking ahead for loads to an area your heading, how do you find the agents for that area?

Absolutely the Carolinas and the eastern seaboard is a great lane. As long as you stay out of Florida. I don’t personally run that lane, but it’s probably the second best lane in the country.
