I'm a member of a Toy Collecting group on Facebook. We have monthly meetups at a local hotel where people set up tables to sell and trade toys. A few months ago I set up a Super Six-Lane raceway and ran some races with a few kids and adults. Three months later it's an official thing at our meetups, and now people are searching for 6-lane raceways online. It's an awesome side of the hobby that IMO takes away the lust for profits and exclusives and brings it back to its roots. Toy cars are meant to be played with, and a race is something that everyone can enjoy, wether you participate in it or not! Keep racing folks!

I'm totally going to hunt the new Neon Speeders, but I also proclaim that in ten years collectors are going to be looking back at these and asking, "What the F%$@ were they thinking of!?!?!" The black-painted ones are good, but the ones painted neon green, yellow, pink, etc. are outlandish.

I MISS those Pike Place shops, and Seattle so much. Miniature Cars has THE BEST DISPLAYS. The “wall of diecast” has 1:64 on steroids in lucite. The wall displays have all scales. If you’re lucky to make it up to the Pacific NW, get some salmon, but do also visit Orange Dracula for scary stuff and Golden Collectables for Comics.
