In a rare performance, Rodriguez graces the stage at Joe's Pub in New York City for a very intimate show on April 25, 2012. This was shot using my iPhone 4S from the front row of Joe's Pub located in the East Village, NYC.
Sixto Rodriguez was in New York for the NY premiere of "Searching for Sugar Man" at the TriBeCa Film Festival.

I hope the USA gets behind this man (as the Aussies and SAF's have) and gives him the deserved credit that's been so long overdue... He's up there with John,Paul,George,Dylan,Young...etc as far as I'm concerned,,, Thanks for the footage. A top performance and good sound taboot...

Wow what a treat. Can't believe you got this with an IPhone. Well done. Impressive Mr. beatmix01. In the next few months I suspect this video is going to get barraged. This a new great glimpse. Loved every second. Nicely done and big thanks. What a song. Can you imagine being able to write something like this? What a gift.

This is an awesome acoustic. No strings. No drums. Just guitar and raw singing up close. Great for what it is. Thanks for sharing this nice performance.
