@@MyDadsJorts Oh, for as long as their shifts are and the conditions they work in and people they deal with, easily 6 figures would be proper. I don't think I could have the patience to do ALL THAT for even an hour. These people are saints.
@johnnyappleseed7112 I never said he wasn't normal, honey. I said he stims and she allowed it. I stim too but try to hide it because of people's reactions.
@@johnnyappleseed7112 Also, will you go down the comments and say the same for every other person who pointed this out? Or did you only want to target me?
As an autistic person this has made me sob. She was so knowledgeable to give him a sensory expression, talking with him without making him converse, keeping distance, not touching him and letting him touch her hands or coat when he’s ready to… So amazing to see people able to facilitate people with different needs to others. Truely heartwarming ❤❤❤
I believe they are actually trained for situations like that, too, though! Which is really cool how inclusive they seem to be. As much as I dislike the company Disney, I can't be mad at how their Disney theme parks and what not are ran.
She noticed he liked the fluff and immediately made it more available for him while keeping a comfortable distance and happy environment. She didn’t have to, but she did. People like her are genuinely such a blessing for the world
I love how the characters understand about the sensory experience and try to interact with Thomas by allowing him to feel their outfits and feel the surroundings (like the wall with Aurora)
Seriously every interaction with him is amazing. When he reaches for the top portion she redirects to the bottom asking him to feel the fur there. It's amazing how smoothly she handles it like with the pumpkins.
AHHH HER OFFERING HER COAT FOR HIM TO STIM AND GROUND HIM SELF IS SUCH A SWEET AND SUBTLE GESTURE!!! As someone with sensory issue something like that feels like putting blinders on a horse cus it lets my just hone in on whats important while still keeping my mind occupied
the way she let him touch the coat was such a special moment to me! as an autistic person I love soft fluffy fabrics, and it must be great to have that sensory experience while seeing your favorite characters!
I’m autistic and I love how she knew that him reaching for her was just sensory seeking and probably a mix of that and wanting to get to know her thru all his senses (I do the same thing), and so she gave him something to redirect that sensory seeking behavior. instead of judging and assuming and scolding, she understood the assignment, and just gave him something more appropriate to touch. That simple.. and it just so happened to be soft fur which can be SO nice and regulating to feel. Also, I am obsessed with her and her acting style.. OBSESSSEDDDD😭😭
OMG! 😁 I ❤ this so much! 💕 Cruella Deville was AMAZING & Thomas is having so much FUN! I'm LOW-KEY jealous of ALL his Disneyland adventures! 😩 KEEP these videos COMING! ☺
The way she pointed as a way of distracting him from getting too close. The sensory aspect of touching her coat is very clever too. What a talented and socially aware lady.
Look how perfectly she interacted with him, keeping him engaged and calm during the whole interaction just by staying perfectly in character. We have a great human being aside a great actor there..
I think the manager briefa all the actors collectively every morning about Thomas 😂 coz they all know his name and know how to deal with him. So sweet..
I’ve always liked that the characters will give him something to touch for his him to have something sensory. My nephew needs sensory things and loves to smell candles (unlite of course.)
Okay but big kudos to Cruella and the Evil Queen for handling these meetings so perfectly, making the boy comfortable, safe, letting him stim and all thay. They really put their entire being into learning how to behave to make neurodivergent and people with disabilities feel seen and safe. Im a psychology student and would have problems carrying it this way as I have no practice. They practice all the time and it's visible. Simply amazing, definitely far above the bare minimum.
I think I saw him when I was there and the familiarity of the staff with him in the parade makes sense now. They are all so nice. I'm glad to still see on the internet clips of this cruella and the queen of snow white. Is the actress the same? I hope they still work there and it is something they love because they are so good at it.
