I’m actually surprised they’re straight up doing a collection with the villain character without their protagonist(especially a princess collection). Like sure it makes sense for Cruella, but Maleficent I would’ve assumed she came with Aurora.
Honestly Maleficent probably has the most character development in "Sleeping Beauty". Honestly watch the film again and you notice that Aurora pretty much has a couple of lines and a song but really says very little in the movie. She's probably the least developed Disney Princess and focused on love at first sight. I thought Aurora and Maleficent would come together but it is what it is. Cruella just made sense and she's pretty much the only one who could be a racer from her film.
They're not. Based on the info shown, they are each in their own respective collections with crew relevant to their franchises and clearly not a generic "Disney Villains" collection.
@@DarthIbisthat’s what I meant. They’re doing the Sleeping Beauty collection with only Maleficent at the moment and not have or be joined by Aurora even though she’s the main protagonist. I already know Cruella going to be in the 101 Dalmatians collection because logically she’s the only 101 Dalmatians character that can be used as a racer.
@@chanwalk1659 Gotcha. That seems to be true in both of these cases. They must feel that Cruella and Maleficent are at least popular enough to stand on their own, and we can probably expect them to be joined by their contemporaries in other mid-season drops. That's my assumption, anyway.
Hopefully Cruellas kart looks like her iconic car. I doubt we will get any other 101 Dalmatian characters so her kart design doesn’t need to fit other characters.

Well it’s close enough to how it looks in the film. A bit modernized compared to the film but otherwise a straight adaption, complete with the Charged Super making it hoodless.
It’s annoying because I’m looking forward to Cruella, but I assumed she would end up being a mid season racer that’s difficult to get… but it makes sense because I don’t know who else they would make a racer from the 101 Dalmatians series. I just can’t see any of the other human characters being popular enough to be racers rather than crew members
Maccus is the hammerhead shark from Davy Jones' crew. Rock crabs are from Davy Jones' locker but I think are tied to Calypso though I can't remember for sure so yeah that makes sense for Tia I guess.
Oh, I would be shocked if there won't be more racers in development for 101 Dalmations. Pongo, Perdita, Roger, and Anita at the very least. Possibly the puppies for various epic crew - Lucky, Rolly, Patch, etc. The fact none of them are listed in the leaked info likely means they're being reserved for later.

Since Jack the monkey isn’t here, Carina will probably be the epic crew member for Barbossa. She is his daughter (I’m surprised they spoiled that) from the fifth movie. Also interesting thing to note is that Blackbeard and Salazar, the villains from the 4th and 5th movies, aren’t here. Maybe they’ll be considered as racers in the future. 🤔

Yup it’s very deliberate they were left out. The Puppies would easily be Perdita’s Gold Crew. That or Anita. But it’s very sus they left out half of their characters from crew. Some will get demoted to gold coin or crew. Just a matter of who.
I doubt any of the Dalmatians will be racers since having quadrupedal racers is illogical. If they do have any other racers from 101 Dalmatians, it'll be Roger with Pongo as his Epic Crew Member and Anita with Perdita as hers. Maybe the more popular pups like Lucky as a Rare Crew Member (cause I don't see them adding all of the remaining 99 Dalmatians)

I was thinking the two characters that made the most sense to be mid-season characters would be Cruella and Maleficent, and this is basically confirmed now with these leaks + the 101 upgrade coins and the 1959 season tokens when redeeming the "ferryman" and "calypso" codes
I see Peter Pan (as an Epic Trickster with Tinker Bell as his Epic Crew Member) and Captain Hook (as an Rare Brawler with Smitte as his Epic Crew Member) joining the roster as mid season racers.
If we get an Incredibles Season, I can see Mr Incredible as an Epic Brawler, Dash as a Common Speedster, Violet as a Common Trickster, ElastiGirl as an Epic Defender, FroZone as an Epic Defender, and Syndrome as a Rare Trickster with Judy Hopps (Epic Speedster) and Nick Wilde (Rare Trickster) as mid season racers.
How about a Tarzan season? We can have Tarzan an epic defender, Jane as a common speedster, Clayton as a common trickster, and Kerchek as a rare brawler. And we can have an Atlantis The Lost Empire season and a Treasure Planet season as well. For Atlantis, we can have Jim Hawkins as a rare trickster, Long John Silver as an Epic Brawler, and Captain Smawlet as a rare speedster. As for Atlantis, we will have Milo as a rare defender, Kita as an epic speedster, Lyle Rourke as a common brawler, and Helga Sinclare as a common trickster. And we can have Tiana (as an epic speedster) and Dr. Ficlier (as a rare trickster) as mid season racers.
I think we should get Timon and Pumbaa and Winnie the Pooh and Tigger be included as mid season racers. I see Timon as a Rare Speedster (with Ma or Uncle Max as his Epic Crew Member), Pumbaa as a Rare Defender (or Brawler) (with I guess Ma, Uncle Max, or Simba as his Epic Crew Member), Pooh as an Epic Trickster (with Piglet or Christopher Robin as his Epic Crew Member), and Tigger as an Epic Brawler (with Roo as his Epic Crew Member).
It would be cool to have Pongo and perdita as racers! Yes, they don't have hands and technically can't steer, but King triton and ursula Don't have actual feet and they still drive the cars.

Who think an Alice in Wonderland Season is a good idea? We can have Alice as a rare defender, Queen of Hearts as an Epic Brawler, The Mad Hatter as a common trickster, and the Mad Hare as a common speedster. We can also have Merida as the seasons' mid racer as a rare brawler. What do you think?
something that makes more sense to add now is Sora from kingdom hearts.. this is turning into Kingdom Hearts Racing. wonder about alice in wonderland, tarzan, and peter pan. also which version of these 2 villains are we to get? live actions or cartoon versions?
It makes sense why Auroa would not be included in Disney Speedstorm because she's always been a passive character compared to Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Mulan, Anna, and Elsa who are active characters. As for Prince Philip, maybe he might be included in the future one day. Maybe he won't.

Has anyone bought the hades package, olympus charon box, Hades has a 15% drop rate on equipment fragments with 7 and 11%. I am missing 2 fragments of hades and I have 500 tokens to buy one, but I would like to know that by having the highest % of the box, it will come out the first time.
For the PoTC stuff...i realy wonder if Jack and Elisabeth are gona be in the pass or not... in part are gona be a huge boost for dis season considering are on the base game from the beghining...
Doubt we'll ever have quadrupedal racers (there's a reason why characters like Pluto and Shere Khan are just Crew Members). At most Pongo and Perdita will just be Epic Crew Members for their respective owners, and some of the remaining 99 Dalmatians will be implemented in.
I can't believe it. Cruella de Vil and Maleficent are coming to season 9 as mid-season racers. But I thought Miss Piggy and Snow White are the mid-season racers for season 9.
You can always tell who they're considering as future racers by who they leave out. Like how Aurora, Phillip, and the Three Good Fairies aren't listed, that shows they don't want to preclude them from being future racers or crew. Notably, Pongo, Perdita, Roger, and Anita aren't listed in the 101 Damlatians collection at all. Are they finally starting to consider quadrepedal racers?
I doubt it. I'm sure Roger (w/Pongo as an Epic Crew Member) and Anita (w/Perdita as an Epic Crew Member) will be racers. I also doubt they'll have all of the remaining 99 Dalmatians as Crew Members, so they'll just use the more popular ones like Lucky
I just put in the code for today and it gave me 1959 season coins and since sleeping beauty came out in 1959 it made me be like "Oh yeah, its all coming together"
The lack of Roger and Anita / Pongo and Perdita makes me think there will be more 101 dalmatian racers in the future. I hope we get Prince Philip when we get Aurora too. He's one of the most iconic princes, and the first one to have a name!
It's nice to see two Disney villainesses get added to Speedstorm's roster, and both of them are from franchises that aren't in the game yet. I can definitely see Cruella as a Speedster because of how crazy she drives, and she would likely be the first villain character to be a Speedster. As for Maleficent, I can see her as a Trickster since she uses magic spells. I wonder if Maleficent's unique ability will involve her transforming into a dragon. These mid-season racers will be what I plan to save my last $20.00 gift card I got for my birthday for, as I've already spent the first $20.00 gift card on shards for Boo from Monsters, Inc. (I still have some left over for another Epic crew member, though I haven't decided which one I should get yet), and I'm saving the second for the golden pass in the Pirates season.
LOOOVVVVVVEEEE Cruella and Maleficent! Will be supporting. I noticed how the members of both 101 and Sleeping Beauty had shards for BOTH Heroes and the villain. I can see 101 Dalmatians having Pongo and Perdita! BUT I’d love that they were together like one driver! That would be so cute! But I doubt it cuz: Rodger would be Pongo’s Gold. Anita would be Perdita’s. Who knows. But it’s a fun concept! And could potentially opening up for Lady and the Tramp!
