We went there in January and LOVED it! We got there by a different type of boat though, the water hammocks and kayaking were my favorite, my husband liked that it wasn’t crowded. If you are thinking about this excursion do it! Our kids ages 5-9 loved it as well, and there were people with little babies too. 😎

Hey you have a beautiful family and we love watching your family videos we are leaving in September on carnival dream. Never have been on this ship but have cruised other carnival ships. Hey Laurell! Thank you and I am so glad you are enjoying the videos!!! Yes this was an excursion to Isla Pasion (Passion Island). You can get to this beach by speedboat, like we did, or by catamaran.

hey guys @EECC Travels this is a great video as well! i wasnt too impressed with cozumel the last time i went on carnival(january 2014) but that may have been because i didn't get to do any excursions - the bf wanted to see the "real" cozumel so he had me walking around in some random neighborhood looking at houses. don't have anything planned for the cozumel stop for our sept 17 sailing just yet so we'll see what happens this time haha going to check out some of your other vids here in a bit!

have u guys come across any of the del sol stores on ur adventures? those are my favorite places to go when i do cruises - always get a few bottles of nail polish and at least one tank top

We used to enjoy leaving port and shopping in an area a few blocks away but have heard that closed. We have tried Cozumel on our own and on excursions and can say that the best experiences we have had were on excursions! There is soooo much to do in Cozumel! Look at the Carnival excursions and look at some that at outside. We are planning on going to Mr. Sanchos on our next cruise. It is an all inclusive that you book directly with the resort (about $50 pp) and you take a cab there and back.

We always pop into the Del Sol stores when we see them, they are so cool! The only thing we ever bought was a pair of flip flops.

Yes but they will take it and hold it for you until the end of the cruise.

Oh very cool! This one was our favorite in Cozumel! It was the perfect balance of fun and relaxing. We’ve only been to Progresso once and we decided to explore on our own. There was a great market we walked too and then had lunch on the beach.

On this travel you need passports right.

Passports are not required but they are recommended. You can sail with your original birth cerificate and ID.

Passion Island truly is amazing! We were on the Carnival Victory and visited there in July 2018. It was a family vacation and my 73 year old mom was with us. The catamaran was great, especially for our family needs. Some chose the top deck which is sun exposed and mom chose the bottom deck protected from the direct sun and heat. We all enjoyed everything about this excursion, but what was even better was getting Mom out in a kayak with us!!! The entire family had an unforgettable time. We still reference Passion Island when booking excursions on newer sailings! Hope that helps! ⚓️❤️⚓️

You all make sure great videos! My wife and I are going on my first cruise, Carnival Valor, in about a month so I have been watching tons of your videos doing research. I did have a question about Isla Pasion, did you share the space with the catamaran to Isla Pasion riders as well? I think you might have sold me on the Isla Pasion Twister excursion. Did the storm end up being about anything? Better yet...have you guys ever been caught in any significant storms on any of your cruises? Our cruise is the first week of October. Hurricane season. Hoping for good weather. We're used to quick storms blowing by.

It's a great choice! It was one of the best excursions we have ever had! Half excitement and half relaxation... best of both worlds! No significant storms thank goodness, but we were in a storm our last night on the Freedom. The ship was rocking to where it was best to put your hand out to the wall when walking. The water in the pool was actually in waves. It wasn't scary, but it was wild. Luckily it was the last night so we were used to the basic feeling of the sea so it didn't make anyone sick.

I hope you had a hurricane free cruise, but I had a real scary storm when I was on the Freedom. We ended up having to skip our Key West port. A couple days later in a storm we saw some of the crew getting lifeboats ready and scrambling a little. It was a bit freaky, and then we also almost couldn’t port back in Galveston because of the waves.
