Yes, 2 ships leaving. BUT Carnival got Costa Magica if I remember correctly. It is currently being refitted to be put into service. You also have Carnival Celebration coming out this year as well and going to Miami. So 2 leaving service, 2 coming into service. Then there's Carnival Jubilee coming out next year
Do you know or can you find out if Splendor has been refurbished since it left the US ? I love Splender and would sail on her in a heart beat but only if its been updated.
I don't understand why Carnival would relocate the carnival Spirit all the way over here and then just put it in Jacksonville for a month. Where do you think the Spirit and the Splendor will end up?
I am sure they will extend the run out of Jacksonville. As for splendor nothing has been mentioned at all yet? Carnival really does keep there cards close to their chest. even working on ships, sometimes you dont hear anything.
It is disappointing that more Fantasy case ships will be gone soon. They are my favorite type of ship. I have sailed on the Ecstasy four times. Also I live near Mobile and will miss this port. I hope they do reassign a ship there one day.
