Why are those parents letting their kid eat off the ground? Sounds like a *lack of concern by the parents,* and an attempt at getting a payday from their kids misfortune.
I was on that father's day cruise. We heard the announcement for the helicopter and then later saw the story the father said on our cruise Facebook page. He was so mad that Carnival did not do more. I understand the frustration, but there was only so much they could do. Unfortunately they are not responsible for what happened. They are doing due diligence in trying to stop/curb drugs on board, but there is not a way for Carnival to stop a small child from picking something up and ingesting it. I understand wanting to give his story, but I am not sure what he expected Carnival to do differently or what he thinks they should do for him now. In the end is a very sad situation and I am happy the kid is doing better.
I don't understand why the parents are blaming carnival when their child picked up something off the ground and put it his mouth. It's the parents responsibility to get him to the medical facility on the first place. What does the staff have to do with it
I am a window seat gal-I love take off and landing, watching the landscape getting larger or smaller. I am fascinated while watching the geographical features from above.
It's not cruise lines responsibility. Do a better job at keeping an eye on you child..I've stood in line at guest services and I've seen several instances where the Parents are oblivious to there small children. As a parent myself I didnt allow my child to be all over the place..I see this often in stores etc...
Floor licker and now they are going to sue...🙄 How do they know the parents didn't have the drugs... Icon new ship well stuff happens and thankfully nobody was hurt.... As usual great vlog! Oh forgot, window seat for me please...
This was my thoughts exactly! All the blood work and urine are clear, but they are sure that it was LSD? Could he have gotten a sea sickness tab? That sounds more likely and the cruise line isn't responsible for people dropping things on the floor regardless. A medical bill is a medical bill. No one likes to pay them but in an emergency we are all glad the service was available.
@@NOLALadyDee Thats kinda my point. ALso kinda strange that the father ID'd LSD. Still woulda shown up in the drug tests tho if it was present. I read about this on another site and several drug tests were given to the child, on the ship and 2x while in the hospital. All were neg.
@@BettyLewis-ln8fqWatch the report again; the report states that the father said the medical staff(Doctor) suspected LSD and advised that the child be monitored for seizures.
I prefer A: aisle seat, so I can get up to use the washroom and when it’s time to land it’s easier for me to get my bag. When I was younger I liked being near the window.
A. My husband and I both get aisle seats opposite each other. Faster to stand and get luggage from over head bins. Also, no climbing over anyone for potty breaks.
OMG, a child drugged, this is terrible 😮, I hope more footage is viewed and staff can find out who dropped that sticker, that’s very serious; thanks for sharing and please keep us informed on any additional outcome….smh
What if it was a medication sticker that fell from someone's body, a scopalamine patch, insulin, nicotine or pain patch. Besides the urine test was negative. The title is very misleading.
I fly Southwest and always sit at the bulkhead window. They put me (us) in the bulkhead so that Glenna has room to laydown and they put me at the window as they need the isle seats to be for people who can help in case of an emergency.
Hi Beth! Yeah, it depends for me too. I typically choose and aisle seat for the leg room and extra space. I choose a window seat if I think I may want to sleep on the flight. Thanks for commenting! I hope you have a great day!
A Aisle. I'm an old man and I like to easily get to the bathroom. When I was a young man flying across the Pacific for Team Spirit 90 or the Atlantic for Desert Storm I loved the window seat to see the storied oceans my dad and uncles crossed for WWII
B. Window seat. I enjoy watching them take off and landing. The story about the 4 year old but is scary!!! So happy he’s recovering. Praying that whatever was in his system doesn’t have any lasting effects.
Morning Doug. So glad the child was ok…such a scarey world we live in. And as to the flight question…I’ll take any but the middle. Is it just me or are the seats getting smaller and smaller? 😬
Hi. Love your content. I would like to know how often pools and hot tubs are tested and cleaned on a daily basis. I have not seen this discussed. Thanks
That is horrible about that little boy, I thought everyone was searched before coming on, but apparently not, because we just took a cruise on Mardi Gras and we smelled weed the entire cruise, what the heck carnival
I loved the window seat but now I’m 1.90 m I can barely fit or I have to get first class and then I could have a window seat lol so it’s aisle or at the exitdoor seat for me 😅
When I first started flying ting I always wanted a window seat. But, then I was on a 20 hour flight on Air Kenya. 4 people to a row. Each time I had to go to the red I had to wake up 3 little old ladies. After that I always got an aisle.
Answer B: window because I get to lean on the wall and like to look to the outside even though there is nothing to see but airplanes are overall making me feel claustrophobic
A only ! That’s why I refuse to fly Southwest. Even if u pay extra for early boarding it seems a large number of people claim a disability which miraculously gets cured when they land .
I prefer a window seat, but only on the left side of the plane. Sometimes, you get bumped too many times by boarding passengers when in an aisle seat. .
B- I prefer a window seat to see some of the landscape of the place I'm visiting. I also don't like all the activity of people walking by me or bumping me.
For anyone who doesn't know, LSD (Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, in case you never knew what that meant; actually LySergic acid Diethylamide) is normally printed on sheets with tiny squares being "one hit". Each square is sold separately. These are tiny. One full-sized sheet having a couple of hundred separate hits was too expensive for most people who used it, so the larger sheets were cut up to sell for smaller amounts. What's funny about the Snoopy, Woodstock, and Charlie Brown (all three were used) was not the characters themselves, but United Features Syndicate, the owners of the Charlie Brown franchise, sued drug dealers when possible for copyright infringement. All that to say, the little boy saw something he thought interesting and put it in his mouth. It might have been a tiny cartoon character, perfectly innocent action for a young, inexperienced child. Still, the parents have no case against the cruise line.
Definitely window seat. I’m flying to Singapore in September from Australia and could only get middle seats in a 2-4-2 configuration and I’m really upset. I much prefer to be on the side. 🤷🏼♀️
I was in the aisle seat on an overnight flight from Japan to CA. The middle seat lady asked me to let her out four times within a couple of hours. On her FIFTH request, as it was nearing time for the lights to go out, I told her firmly but politely, "After this time, the gate is closed. I'm going to sleep soon." She did not bother me again until the next morning at the end of the flight. The guy in the window seat never moved for the entire flight!
