So you’re expecting the crowd to just stay silent, when a half-million tonne piece of metal sails through a harbour blasting out the greatest theme tune ever?
Soldiers line their ships as they wait for the battle. A massive shadowy figure slowly appears in the distance, hidden by the looming fog. As the mysterious ship slowly approaches, it’s horns bellow a song so fierce. It is the opening to Seven Nation Army. Suddenly, before the soldiers’ very eyes, *hundreds* of horns join in unison, their thunderous sound shaking the soldiers to their cores. As if from a nightmare, ships appear by the hundreds, slowly following their leader towards the soldiers. It was then, the soldiers realized, they were approaching an event that would go down in history forever. *World War III was about to begin.*
Quello è un Italiano!!!!!! Hahaha MSC nel porto di Amburgo, BITCH! EDIT: we won the WC in Germany in 2006 on the song Seven Nation Army, and that is an Italian captain with Italian cruise ship entering the port of Hamburg, Germany, using the ship as instrument; just to troll the beloved Barbarians in their main port. To make sure that the locals knew that: "the Italians are coming!!!!!!" Hahahahah PS It was the ship's birthday
well, second officer isn’t in fact second in command on the ship, he is in fact 4th, it would be funnier if you said chief officer, or smh like 6th officer
I saw this video like 6 years ago and this morning I randomly thought about this exact video and it gets recommended to me. Pretty sure google can read my mind
Sean.k.12 Meet the LRAD: a sound-based anti-piracy measure. It’s at a fraction of normal volume there: being within 500 feet of the area it is aiming at causes permanent hearing damage as does using them. The sound is so concentrated it can cause nausea and ruptured eardrums. Aim it at a pirate speedboat and they’ll be seasick in seconds.
@@manupfdo3150 battleships got mostly retired in the 1960s cause they were huge targets for missiles, and after that they fully were retired edit: full retirement happened in the very early 2000s after the iraq war
@@worldmapping4895 IIRC the last time a battleship saw combat was the USS Missouri, which fired shells and missiles at Iraqi positions in '91. That's the same USS Missouri that the Japanese surrendered on in '45, which is pretty crazy to think.
Tfw you have no sense of scale and your history has been taken from Nazi lovers 😐To begin with, the Kriegsmarine was not even the biggest worry for the RN as the Italians had a more powerful fleet. The four modern capital ships the Kriegsmarine had, were, well modern, and fast enough to be a pain to catch for the hordes of heavy RN capital ships that could kill them. These German ships were pretty much locked in an endless game of strike-and-run-away; with most targets being shipping. They were never going to try to get into a pitched battle with the RN. The RN had like seventeen battleships and three battlecruisers, and any one of those could kill Scharnhorst or Gneisenau by themselves (as history shows). Bismarck and Tirpitz were more of a threat, though were rather underwhelming considering how much heavier they were than ships of the time. German ships of ww2 were awfully inefficient. But yes, they could be double teamed by any two British battleships, and in Bismarck's last "fight", Rodney (about fifteen years younger than Bismarck btw) more or less killed Bismarck by herself; crippling her within the first few salvos. If I remember rightly, both Bismarck's front turrets and command crew were knocked out right away.
Imagine being lost at sea, it's misty and dark. You can only see a little around you. the shadow emerged from throwing distance. And then... you hear the bone shattering horn playing seven nation army.
Iceberg: Oh, you’re approaching me? Instead of turning hard to Port, you’re coming right to me? Seven Nation Cruise Ship: I can’t beat the shit out of you without coming closer.
@@abilawaandamari8366 but it wouldnt be a literal army. It would be a song that they probably heard before. Somali people watch a lot of American films.
Oh my God this made me so happy and so excited I almost cried. Remember pre-2020 when we were allowed to JOKE and have FUN with other strangers? Even when you were representing a huge company?? Ugh I miss those days.
@@mustard4762 he never arrived in the US(of that is what are you referring to as 'America') , the island he first arrived in was called Guanani, and later named San Salvador.
It’s almost about to be the 10th year anniversary of this video and this cruise ship! Awesome video! I made a comment in this video about 3-4 yrs ago but can’t find it…. Anyways enjoy your guys day!! 🎉
Brock Casey We wish you would try, Brock. I’m eager to see how would you survive your first winter somewhere where your mother wouldn’t be able to cook tendies every 2 hours and wipe your ass for you.
What the fuck is with this shit? WHY? I know a lot was used to be based on, likes, comments and length of time spent watching the video. Its a short video, lots of views and loads of likes/comments WHY only show me this NOW. I NEEDED TO SEE THIS IN 2014!!
God I need a scene in a war film that has ships playing this while all firing missiles at one another and sailors shooting turrets in slow motion at incoming aircraft. Then as soon as the first enemy shot fires back, the scene moves to normal speed and “I’m gonna start a war” is said and it becomes the best fucking action scene ever produced in cinema.
Imagine ur in a ww2 naval battle outnumbered outgunned with your squadron getting batttered by all side, surrounded and main mission of escorting merchant ship, and you fight through entire night, losing your comrades and ships one by one , you some how push through the night, and in the morning only your ship is left alone with the last rounds, you say goodbye to your comrades point your gun in all direction, before you fire it up you see the enemy ships get taken down, blasting out of the explosion and smoke THIS MUSIC, a huge allied destroyer comes and obliterating everything in its path...... You deep breath in relief
