Yours is slightly different to my LF. From left to right on my wheel is stereo volume up/down then tuning radio in the middle and then phone control hang up and answer/redial. right side of wheel is retarder/exhaust brake on and off, then speed limiter set and off (the speed limiter off also turns the cruise control off) then cruise control set(+) and res(-) the plus and minus also adjusts the speed on the speed limiter. Yes, I know this is 2 years ago lol
Pete, did you know when it's turned on idling in the morning if you want to build air up and warm engine up press plus on the set switch and it will bring the idle rpm up the more you press it the more the revs will raise.
It works intermittently on mine, it tends to work the first time I press it but then after I’ve needed to turn it off I press the plus button an nothing, effin thing drives me up the wall! (It’s a slightly newer version of the one here, but pretty much the same)
Please l need you help on the 2011 DAF CF 85.460. with Paccar engineMX 340 U1.it showing up a Regen l ight, but l cant see the bottom to start the regeneration system, can someone help me on how to go about this please?
Pete, I just completed one of these here "Speed Awareness Courses" yesterday (Wednesday 2nd). Well...... I've been driving for 38 years, artics for 35 years and now am in my own van on the CX. In all this time spent at the wheel, I obviously knew all to well the speed limits were different for trucks, but I wonder how many of your subscribers are aware that they may be breaking limits in their vans!?? I honestly had no idea that my Transit van was governed by different rules speedwise. My van has a gross weight of 3.5t but the rules apply for any van from 2.5t up to 7.5t. National Speed Limits are as follows: Single Carriageway - Cars 60 Vans 50 Dual Carriageway Cars 70 Vans 60 Motorway Cars and Vans both 70 Just thought I'd share this incase it's not just me again!!
