Great episode, thank you for doing this. I grew up in the Rideau Valley, my grandfather is from Kemptvillle and my grandmother was from Merrickville. Only recently in my adulthood realizing how beautiful the Rideau and the Ottawa valley really is. After returning home for a visit living for four years in Moncton New Brunswick a beautiful province, I came to appreciate the history and culture of the surrounding areas.
