My husband and I went in 2019 and it was FABULOUS!! Chef AJ.... I was the one in the very front of all your cooking demos -- LOVED it! This cruise got my husband back on track with plant-based eating and I'm forever gratefiul for that! I'd love to go again one day!
A few years ago I brought one daughter and one granddaughter on Sandy's cruise, no easy feat because both women ate only kosher food. With lots of preplanning and the help of accommodating staff we surmounted all difficulties and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Last year and this year, I admit defeat! The departure and arrival dates were/are all on the Jewish Sabbath. There was no way to get around this obstacle. I pray this lamentation reaches the heart of those who have the power to satisfactorily address this issue. ⚓
When I lived in So Fla I would go to Sandy's Oak Feed store in the Grove often. Dipped my toes into Macro for a while. Now I'm just a healthy ½ assed vegan at 75! Cruising was never my thing and This cruise looks interesting. Thanks for the update.
Did you, by any chance, go to Gables High? My dad was a math teacher there and he tutored Sandy's daughter! Oak Feed in Coconut Grove was my hangout. Sandy and I reconnected 2 years ago. Small world!
We sail back on March 9 from the 80s Cruise so will still be at sea when this sets sail. ! I wish I could go on this one!!! I love cruising! Oh, you don't have the whole ship? The 80s Cruise has the whole ship.
Hello, thank you, I'll see you on the cruise. God, if you allow it... could you tell me the brand of rice, please, thank you, blessings.🙏❤️😘🌱☀️🥑🥥🥒🍉🍏🍍💃🏻🏝️🚢
We accommodate oil free and everything is always sugar free. For salt, we don't do 100% salt free but we have an excellent quality salt company that is one of our sponsors. The seasoning is not standard restaurant quality.
This is a great cruise but why are the vegans charged so much more then the non vegans while the non vegans get to enjoy all the HHAS activities, lectures , and vegan buffet? While it’s the same ship/cruise! 🤷♀️
The pricing for HHAS is for our passengers only. If you are not registered through us, you do not have access to the lecture / classes or weekly program including our menus. We do not accommodate the full ship.
@@macromarinelli hello, thank you for your quick response. My partner and I were on the HHAS cruise in February of 2020. It was a beautiful ship and the cruise was amazing. But the passengers that “were not” booked thru HHAS were at the lectures and also the vegan buffet. There was no one checking wrist bands as we were told to wear throughout our time on the cruise. We also saw people “without” wrist bands or the HHAS lanyard going in and enjoying the vegan buffet and the ice cream social. I have no problem with non Vegans trying the delicious vegan food or even enjoying the lectures from the plant based doctors and activists, after all it could be very beneficial to them! But why charge the vegans (thru HHAS) so much more money for the same cruise? The cost for the regular MSC cruise is $885.00 pp. VS. $2,039 pp for the same cruise but thru HHAS 🤔 Doesn’t seem fair 🤷♀️ Shouldn’t the price be the same for everyone since it’s everyone that’s enjoying all the goodies on the cruise?
