Kitakami - Japanese Tier X cruiser. At the outbreak of the Sino-Japanese War, Kitakami provided cover for landing operations of Japanese troops. In the second half of 1941, she was armed with ten quadruple-tube 610 mm torpedo launchers for night torpedo attacks. In 1942, the ship was converted into a high-speed transport for escorting troop convoys. In 1944, Kitakami took two torpedo hits from submarine HMS Templar. During repairs, the ship was converted into a Kaiten carrier. In 1945, the cruiser was damaged by Task Force 38 bombers and then used as a tender.

REMEMBER that for this to happen, more than 5 minutes must pass, so only 3 times per battle, this situation may occur, plus I doubt that players will waste time waiting for all 40 torpedoes, so in 90% of cases it will be 8-16 torpedoes... not at all so much.

Assashio Division From Hell video is a DIV of 3 Assashio's and they sent 10 x 3 x 2 with reloader....and they politely said..."we're sorry Shokaku". I think it was 60 torps.

Oh buddy , yesterday I had battle on kitakami , all went wrong from start loot of islands , 12 min of battle I did nothing ! , and then in I just sneak on flank with 7.7km det range that is easy , few enemy bb & cruiser have hide tougether behind island , I had full loaded all 10 lauchers , I sent them all , one suck salve I got 178k dmg , and I have sunk 4 ships ... and on paper that look OP , but that was one of 5 battles I played , other average 100k , so yeah Kitakami is only OP if today is "Saturday , November 15th" ,= you need to have luck and be right time in right place , if you want to have "bit" of fun cv & subs are more annoying.

Kitakami 2.0 is such a massive middle finger to the people who bought the ship when it first came out, then had it replaced with the Atago (it's pretty good but it's not the Kita)

Perfect example of poor teamwork with zero battle impact. The player totally ignored, for minutes, the enemy ship that flanked around and wound up taking A cap, sealing the defeat of his team.

You're accusing him for being bad teammate only becouse he doesnt have teamwork gameplay ? You know, Different players has different playstyles. Some ppl just want to have some fun instead of exposing themselfes to the enemy just to let teammates take a few shots that they would probably all miss... xD

I have Kitakami and it is definitely very hard to play; perhaps the most difficult ship in the game. This guy played it pretty well, the team just didn’t do their part. Kita has to be a pretty distant, passive player. If anything, this driver was too aggressive, but he made it work.

Тип 93 модель 1 2700 кг*144=388 800 тн 🤔 не хилая масса торпед на один бой. Это 5 водоизмещений линкора Ямато , а там были торпеды массой и по 9,1 тн . Кд торпед минуты 3 делать надо

Is he supposed to fight battleships head-to-head with just his guns? If he was playing cruisers like the Petropavlovsk, which can citedel Yamato's and tank BB shells with ease, or the Smolensk where he can just hide behind smoke and turn battleships into floating bon fires in seconds with that ship's insane HE spam, then there's no problem getting into a gunfight with battleships with those ships. On the other hand, most other T10 cruisers don't hold up too well, including this one, when engaging in direct gunfights with full health battleships.

WoWS keeps putting more and more unrealistic ships in the game. This is their methodology to make money on the game: selling ships and the crap that goes with them. I am thinking this one ship is really the last straw for me. Not content to make steady money off subscriptions, running Brawls and the rest of the competitive play, they want to be billionaires, apparently, and are essentially killing the golden goose. Might as well go to guided missile cruisers and move out of the 1940-50s and make it science fiction with UFOs swooping down to take a shot now and then...

You reload only one rack per minute on both sides of the ship. It takes 5 minutes of no firing to load all the racks on one side. You call that "fast"?

While most of his team sucked, I have to point out the person playing the Kearsarge, who looks like one of the most cowardly, and useless BB players I've seen in a long time. He spent most of the game camping way in the back, hiding behind islands, and running away from the battleline, especially in the end when his heavy armor, health pool, and firepower could have been used the most to win the game. What's the point of playing a battleship if you're not going to tank for the team, but instead expect lightly armored cruisers and destroyers to take the brunt of the damage, which is what battleships are designed for.
