Congrats on the new bike, man! I've owned a few different iterations of the Ninja 650-(they all had their own inner beauty;), and this latest model is definitely Kawasaki's best yet! I'm looking to get the latest '23 as well.....and, for what its worth- I'm also tryin to drop about 30 lbs., at 53, and am just getting to it...AGAIN😅. I'm pretty much out of time, ya know? Having to balance and ride a motorcycle is a great workout in and of itself, truly, and might just be the kickstart to your own health journey as well. I guess we all inevitably know when we're FINALLY sick and tired of always feeling 'sick and tired" though, right? Like riding, small steps forward, consistently, is all you need. Have a blast on the bike, be safe, and remember that with bikes, as well as all things in life, we are ALWAYS learning. Ride your gear when you can, take some courses (or watch great youtube content on safer riding)- and enjoy the journey!
Lmao i remember having my clear visor on when i forgot the fog thing from my dark visor since i had to go out on a small night ride and its impossible to ride without the fog visor inside haha. I have an old ass gs 500.. i just bought a GSX 650 F and hopefully its ready in 2 weeks. i love the 650 class for my needs and the GSX sounds so amazing because of the motor.. my dream bike was a Ninja tho.. will end up with a GREEN ninja at some point. And keep it up with the videoes! slowly build that channel up man!
The guy next door to me just bought a used sportster and he is about 5'9" and 400 lbs. I never see him out walking trying to loose weight. I don't know what medical issues he has. His whole family are obese. Sad. I'm a big proponent for carnivore dieting. I don't want to give advice unless I'm asked. He was talking yesterday about getting heavier springs for the shocks and mentioned he weighed 400 lbs. You can only shake your head. I've learned that people that are obese aren't going to loose weight until they decide to change their life by addressing their addiction to carbs. Good luck with your journey.
Looking to buy 23 as my first bike, has 2k miles and they’re asking 6grand for it, same exact bike and I love the color and style . Would you recommend it
@@6OH3__VIBES haha hell yea! Only 20 and have a 4 month old daughter so I’m deciding on if to go with and grab the bike or not, but the thing is you only live once and as long as I know I’m safe and have all the gear, why not enjoy life a little more right haha
Get to a big empty parking lot to practice your turning. Also for the helmet, did you get your head measured before buying? If not, I would go to a motorcycle dealership and let them measure for free and see which would best fit to not feel like your suffocating. We all have different head shapes. I’m a large round, but my buddy is an XL long. Stay safe riding bro 😎🤘🏽👑
If you don’t care about your image I would just get me one of those milk crates those plastic ones tie it up then that’s cargo behind you or get you a backpack for your coat
Just a regular bell helmet, paid like $120 for it. Was the cheapest one they had there. I didn’t wanna spend all my money that day, right before buying the helmet I dropped $5,500 on the bike 😬
