🇳🇿 Arguably the best day on this entire Australia to New Zealand cruise is the day we sail through the Fiordland National Park. That means in one day get to see Milford sound, Doubtful sound AND dusky sound.

My wife and I did an overnight cruise through Doubtful Sound in 2023. I highly recommend you put this on your bucket list. It was the most incredible experience!

You were lucky to get into all the sounds, so many cruises you hear of that the weather was too rough. We did a tour of Doubtful Sound years ago and it was a great experience, at the time the tour we did was the only ones allowed out there.

@JordanandEmily it was a whole day tour, they took us on a bus through the power station that is connected, then we did the boat trip. It was amazing we had dolphins following the catamaran and then they turned the engines off and we got to listen to the silence of nature.

I learned a lot in this video. I only heard of Milford sound before, but Doubtful and Dusky seem just as amazing. Do you know if these places are accessible via a road trip? Or is a cruise the best way to see the fjords? Thanks!

I think a cruise is the best way, there's definitely some you can't get to at all via road!
