I get that the boating/great loop demographics are pretty niche but I’m stunned there aren’t more Subs. Of all the Loop videos this is far and away the best content. Great work.
We just found your channel. We have an identical vessel with much work left to do. We’re departing Wisconsin this summer for the loop. Y’all are an inspiration.
Oh sweet! They are a lot of work but it’s nice getting to know your home and feeling better about handling anything that might arise. Best of luck on making your departure!
As always enjoyed the video. Have cycled and recumbent triked (catrike) that stretch along the DSC. As I mentioned to you folks when heading northbound their is a cool bear statue at the trailhead. About an 8 mi ride from the wrlcome center. Be safe.
I wish we could have stopped by and seen it... unfortunately they were doing maintenance on the bridge to the park so it was closed for the fall into the winter. Apparently they had a tug bring out the bridge for inspection - I bet that would have been interesting to see in the canal! Thanks for watching Jeffrey!
Thanks Michael! It definitely is a lot of work trying to release them quicker... when we started the Loop in '21, we didn't post any Loop videos until after my injury in Maryland - 6 months behind lol. This year in '22 we are shooting for about a week behind so a lot more consistency! We get our music from Epidemic Sound and MusicBed!

Love the colors! I live in Northern VA. Glad you can visit the Bay. I have not ever sailed on it. But i would think you could almost spend a year just cruising all the little areas here. Its snowing right now here. My question is how well insulated are boats? How hard is it to keep them warm in the winter? Guess not to well since most people move south.
Thanks Ulysses! The only insulation is really the water (which is pretty decent) Considering in most sailboats, you live sort of under the water and that acts as a decent insulator but still most people in colder climates will have a heater. Typically either wood or diesel I'd say. Most people move south because of this for sure and also boats can be claustrophobic so most people enjoy being outside! If your budget is different you can always stay at docks for AC Heat or you can run the generator all the time for Heat :) Lots of options!
No duckweed at all! I presume it flares up in different seasons depending on the weather but we also didn't have any heading north in April so I'm not sure!
