It’s on and crackin’ on Whittier blvd right after the Lowrider Super Show 2022 at the Long Beach Convention Center! The Lowrider Super Show didn’t disappoint one bit but the lowriders cruising Whittier blvd afterwards was a whole other event in itself. Everywhere you looked, there was a lowrider club on scene. Even had a lowrider bycicle or two (well more lol) out hitting the boulevard just like the cars.
Of course as always there was a variety of cars, especially more so coming from the Long Beach super show. The 1964 Imapala is the image of what a lowrider is but not far behind are also 1963 impala lowrider, Lincoln town car lowrider, lowrider bombs, Gbody rides, Cadillacs and so on and all present at the lowrider cruise night. Wire wheels were definitely spinning this night, whatever brand whether actual Dayton wire wheels or what ever lowrider wheels people were had on their rides. It was like a Los Angeles takeover!
I got some great footage of lowrider hydraulic action, and there was lots of it happening. Lowrider 3 wheel motion is on of the crowd favorites besides hopping. These juiced cars put on quite the show out on the boulevard! Even though hydraulics are the main choice of lowriding, you'll also see many rides with airbag suspension hitting switches too. Whatever your opinion is on a bagged lowrider, there's no denying their come up in the culture. What I've noticed, there's bagged s10 trucks and a good chunk of lowrider bombs are bagged too. Throw in bed dancing truck as another popular choice for airbag suspension.
