Please Please do the Walnut Chocolate Chip recipe!!! Either in video form or just on your website!! Those are my favorite cookies and I would love to know how to make them massive like Crumbl does!
Your face was priceless!! Exactly! That’s what I’ve been thinking the whole time freeze dried strawberries. I’ve used it in buttercream frosting and I also used the strawberry and Neapolitan cookies
I would love the recipe for the walnut chocolate chip cookie! And I agree about the frosting on the Neapolitan cookie- pulverized freeze dried strawberries mixed in buttercream is the way to go! That being said I still enjoyed the cookie for what it was (even though it did have that artificial taste), and it was still my son’s fav cookie this week. Surprisingly we hated the mousse on the hot chocolate cookie- to me it had an off-putting texture and tasted like gooey/stretchy sort of bland chocolate pudding to me. We scraped it off and replaced it with homemade chocolate buttercream, lol!
Whenever I make strawberry buttercream I ALWAYS smash freeze dried strawberries in it. It adds a real taste of strawberry and doesn’t taste artificial, I had never been a fan of strawberry flavored anything till then.
I feel the same way about strawberry frosting on anything like donuts, cakes, cupcakes and cookies. I never get them because they tend to have an artificial taste. I will get chocolate or vanilla frosting instead. I look forward to your Crumbl reviews because you are honest with what you really think about the cookie.
The pink sugar cookie is back!!! I need to know your thoughts. Also, you should do copycats for all of them, but a “better” version of the Neapolitan one 😉 Love you girl
So behind with watching your video this week! Would love the copycat for the walnut chocolate chip and frozen hot chocolate! I’ve made so many of your cookies so far and I love them all!
Nooooo! The neapolitan is my favorite! I love the super tart, candy like frosting. It's one of the few that I like without chips or M&Ms (all cookies should have those). I was hoping for a copycat of their frosting🤷🏻♀️
You could definitely make their frosting!! Just use my cream cheese frosting recipe and then add strawberry jello powder a little at a time, tasting as you go, until it’s flavored to your liking!
Has the Neapolitan cookie today and me and my husband had an argument about the frosting lol I said the same thing about the cream cheese being too tangy and it should be buttercream
Totally agree, Freeze Dried Strawberries maybe with Buttercream or Cream Cheese Frosting. I do not try anything Neopolitan. I prefer the flavors separately. It would be great if they did a Spumoni cookie! That's the ice cream I grew up on. My dad would by Neopolitan just to be frugal but gave up because it was never enough so we'd laugh & said he was no longer on ice cream patrol. I was not going to bother to get the Neo cookie, I think they always go to artificially add the strawberry. Also, the Sugar Cookie? Why not do a Vanilla Bean Cookie with specks of Vanilla Bean? If I see something strawberry flavored, unless it's naturally & with very few ingredients, I dare not eat it. I also think maybe a vanilla bean & strawberry cookie side by side with the chocolate on top because the chocolate in the Neopolitan cookie is always the strongest flavor.
The Neopolitan Cookie was personally my favorite of the week, but I had it fresh out of the oven so the whole thing melted in my mouth. Can you do a copycat recipe but modify the strawberry frosting to something you think would go better? I personally liked the tangy strawberry but it was a bit too strong.
I liked frozen hot chocolate except for the chocolate chips... I HATE cold, hard chocolate chips that are not melted. If you come up with a recipe for it I'll probably leave them out😅
I think the dehyrdated strawberries would be a great idea instead of the jello in the neopolitan but I think Crumbl went cheap on this cookie and it was cheaper for them to just use jello flavoring. Which is sad considering the cookies are so expensive to begin with and they shouldnt be using cheap ingredients.
