My home was built in the 50s. Like many in my neighborhood, it's on hills. Weak & thin foundation. It has many cracks in it! One in my master bedroom Which was repaired about 15 yrs ago cause it became uneven. Paid 7k which was not super expensive. Unfortunately I now have to deal with the other rooms since I'm reflooring. Earthquake Cali! It is what it is!

Like with asbestos the government should be held responsible for the bill. Since they initially approved the particular product that has the fault now.

How are houses built in the uk? I've never seen an image of a uk construction worker or construction work being done in the uk except in the hitch hikers guide to the galaxy

@@americanskeptic1559 most commonly brick and block, foundations are dug, concrete is poured and blocks and bricks laid on top of that.

This foundation repair cost I bet is around 150K. Easy 100K profit in 6 weeks. There are many builders that save lots of money by building economy foundation. They us less concreate and less R-Bar foundation metals so they can sell the houses cheap.

amazing work. im sure it costs an arm and a leg, but if you cant sell the house the way it is what choice to you have.... i would estimate upwards of 100k for this. I just had 1 side of my existing stacked stone foundation collapse and had to have just 1 wall replaced and floors poured, i would have loved to been able to do something like this if cost was no option.
