My father fought there as a member of the 27th infantry division. He never spoke of his combat experiences until the last months of his life. Dad was 18 years old. May God bless my father and all who fought and died here!

David Rowley I do believe that is an M-18 Hellcat tank destroyer. Same 75 mm gun as most Shermans, but little heavy armor. Very fast for the time and an effective mobile platform
