*People give me money for FREE... Hey we could make a religion out of this* Also you can checkout ck3 here (Also has a free weekend on steam this weekend!) - play.crusaderkings.com/SpiffingBrit
when someone says "never change", spiff thinks "if someone is guaranteed to never change while everything else does, there should be a way to turn this into infinite money. let's see if their amount of debt is immutable..."
The fact that your wife died, and the fact that she died the way you called it and the fact that you kept it in because that's the only true way to show how ck3 really is... I just love this game and I love your channel Spiff!
in crusader kings 3 my only son died (i didnt wanted to divide my land so i killed my husband) one jear before i died and i was one fucking day away from taking over the last castle needed so i could unite the Westslavs
First time my star first son died to a swimming accident with his friend, I killed the friend and rage quit. I learned a lot about my self that day. Totally immersed in the game feeling like I imagine so many real parents have felt given something simliar happening. Insane. Feel in love with the game despite all its pricey dlc's and flaws
"Developer approved mode without mods or cheats" and all you have to do is change game files to duplicate a trait that can't normally be duplicated in game!
Each knight serving in your army can kill 100 troops per Prowess they have, not counting bonuses. Big Dave serving in his own army can kill over 10,000 men in a battle BY HIMSELF. What a beast.
listen imagine you're in a battle and you've seen much of your army defeated by ONE DUDE wouldn't it just be safer to RUN THE FUCK AWAY at that point? XD
It's how he exploits our affection, share the information he's done with and deter us from looking into the true knowledge and wisdom that allowed him to achieve his power by directing our attention elsewhere 😛
It's so refreshing to know that even The Spiffing Brit is susceptible to failing to save and then having something go wrong in a game. I really enjoy CK3, and this was really funny, Spiff! More, please!
@@Sten43211 Dunno how CK3 handles it but generally speaking Alt + F4 sends a command to the program to shut down, which allows it to save before doing so. It's basically just a shortcut to the "exit game" button. If you want to avoid that you'd need to open the task manager and find the active process and shut it down directly.
This video is so _appropriate!_ My _family_ love to come and watch the _friendly_ content within it! I see _absolutely nothing inappropriate_ here! I applaud your _incredible decency_ and _infinite viewability!_ Well done!
That was a nice video to both quickly break down some new features while still doing whatever you wanted to do, and successfully at that. Gonna say, that update's one of the biggest one I've waited for before diving into CK3 again after some time.
Spiff has spent years exploiting video games and still seems unsure exactly what an exploit is. That's how pro he is. Edit: Finally got around to the end of this video and seems he doesn't know what a cheat is either. Only thing Spiff exploited in this video was the English language
The game has checks in place to stop you from doing text edited OP characters and yet this method works. Hence why I class it as an exploit as the developers have left it in by mistake
@@thespiffingbrit I wasn't even referencing that particular one. Thanks for highlighting one for me. It's like having my very own unpaid intern! You just got exploited for free labour.
This video is absolutely magnificent! The sheer brilliance of the content coupled with the stunning visuals truly left me awestruck. The erudite delivery of the message by the presenter was simply impeccable, showcasing a profound mastery of language and communication. The depth of insight presented here is truly remarkable, and I found myself thoroughly engrossed in the subject matter from beginning to end. The attention to detail and level of research that went into producing this video is evident in every frame, making for an incredibly immersive and informative experience. In short, this video is a true tour-de-force, and I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone seeking enlightenment and edification. Bravo to all involved in its creation!
Spiff predicts the family-friendly and wholesome rule of Big Dave, and the unfortunate incident with his first betrothed consuming a strange plant (probably containing a certain horrible non-tea bean).
Given how many people playing seem to try for Matilda, i think she might be haunting the software, to avoid virtual marriage to peasants in the distant future.
If coffee is "bean juice", then tea is "leaf juice", and consequently cocoa and anything like chocolate syrup or chocolate in general is also "bean juice". Most sodas with cola in it are "nut juice" when you look up the kola nut. Oh and... *[sips coffee]* this stuff is GLORIOUS. More seriously, I'll drink either coffee or tea depending on my mood, but my morning drink is always coffee.
I mean he started by modifying the games text files and approximately 0,5 percent of users will do that. Also he never said the features are useless, only that they are powerful, especially with a modded cheat character that basically cannot fail anything.
@@brennenderopa if i properly remember this part of the video, game still checks the content of the file, but the interpretation of that check still has some faults. I will need to re watch this part again.
@@brennenderopa previously, only 0.5% would modify game files. Now ... 286k people will be doing it lol. CK3 is a great game that I adore! Lots of wonderful things to discover. Some of which people swear is only in CK2 and complain about Paradox making an inferior game. but they just haven’t found it yet. Which makes this game so replayable. So many different ways to approach a win. I just love it!
hey spiff, i justed wanted to tell you that i really love your content and it always makes me feel good no matter what. i hope you keep on doing what you're doing and stay excellent 🙏
Wow, this video is a delightful blend of entertainment and education! The Spiffing Brit never fails to deliver hilarious content while showcasing the quirks and exploits of Crusader Kings 3. It's amazing how he manages to find these hidden gems in the game, and his witty commentary keeps me laughing throughout. Thank you, Spiffing Brit, for brightening up my day and reminding me why I love gaming so much. Keep up the fantastic work and continue spreading the joy of gaming to all of us. Cheers!
I would totally watch another CK3 stream, the vods are among my favorites for rewatching. Especially when you start renaming your leader characters after your other exploit builds like Reanu and PEM. :-)
Thank you Spiff for giving us an interesting and family friendly way to teach history to the children that keeps with our values. I showed this to my Sunday School class, and it was a hit! You are truly a scholar and a gentleman.
Great video. This may have been your greatest conquest! I’m not sure the devs approve of going into the game files and copy/pasting disloyal over and over again! But what the power of tea, Big Dave is glorious as ever. Lol!
10:00 that moment when Spiff forgets that he's supposed to be a human and lets his AI reality slip 😂 I hope I'm not the only one that laughed when he said he "built" his first son lmao
Hearing him describe what he does to games that are perfectly balanced is always a joy. Perhaps one day he'd dare to try Dwarf Fortress? That would be quite inspiring!
Since they made Danger Rooms a lot more hazardous it's certainly harder to trivialise. Without touching the RAWs that is, game is infinitely moddable with just notepad. Giving Dwarfs 180k size and nopain isn't an exploit😂
So, I can 100% confirm that the ruler designer save file editing still works on the current launch version of the game, you just have to either reload the map or relaunch the game after editing it - I'm not sure which as I just went with relaunching the game for testing purposes. So, to recap, the steps are Start new game - Create custom Ruler - Literally anything (for ease of copy/paste, add the trait you want to use for free points - after a lot of consideration, Disloyal really is the best since 100 diplomacy completely counteracts the downsides, and each stack is worth more than +1 stat point, so you can easily counteract the -1s) - go into your documents -> Paradox Interactive -> CK3 -> Rulers - Find the one you just made - Open it with a text editor (both notepad and notepad++ work fine) - CTRL+C the negative trait + 1 empty space before it, hold CTRL V for like 2 minutes - Save file - Relaunch game (or reload the new game map, not sure which is required.) - Load saved ruler - Now have thousands of points to work with but achievements also enabled - Create your God-Emperor.
Additional findings: You don't have to relaunch the game, only reload the map - Potentially even just reload the ruler designer screen. I HIGHLY suggest making your broken character first, and THEN adding the stacks of disloyal, as you can end up lagging out and crashing the game when trying to add additional traits in the same category. A quick reminder that a lot of traits have significant disadvantages not visible in their tooltip, such as shy and paranoid inflicting insane stress on you constantly. Thus, it's generally largely better to ignore traits as much as possible (aside from health traits and the genetic ones) and just rely on getting your bonuses from absurd stat values, so you aren't locking yourself into too many forced bad choices in events - THAT SAID, there's also quite a few traits that unlock very significant bonuses, that generally are worth grabbing, such as the ones that enable various schemes, etc.
I seem to have stumbled onto thee most historically accurate and family friendly video on the creation of the Holy Roman Empire!! Absolutely glorious!!! Keep up the great content Spiff !! Ohh , and R.i.p. Matilda 😢
My school History teacher said this was 115% historically accurate, the extra 15% being because it actually filled in some blanks that historians have been researching for decades.
Spiff: "well; Matilda could die; she could get sick, she could get kidnapped, anything is possible really---" Game: "she's dead" Spiff: *"I didn't mean it to actually be this way game!"*
It has been a long time since I have consistently smiled, smirked, giggled, and laughed for 33 min and 13 seconds straight. Entertainment value is through the roof! I feel like I just saw a comedy show.
