In the 4. Bc4 cxb2 5. Bxb2 line covered at 4:29: As Levy says, ...Bb4 is critical and gives Black a good game with accurate play, but the line is tricky. A simpler way for Black to stay out of trouble is to give back one of the pawns with 5...d5!? 6. Bd5 Nf6. Black threatens ...Nxd5 to trade off the active bishop while remaining a pawn ahead, and White's attack disappears after any bishop retreat. There is one flashy continuation to remember: 7. Bxf7+! Kxf7! 8. Qxd8 ("Oh no, my queen!") Bb4+! regaining the queen. Here White avoids going a piece down with 9. Qd2! Bxd2+ 10. Nxd2. So after all the fireworks the position is even materially, but the pawn structure is very unbalanced, giving both sides winning chances. From the Black perspective, what I like about the position is: (a) Your typical Danish Gambit player wants to win the game in 20 moves and probably won't be happy with this position, where the queens have been traded and prospects are strong for a long endgame. (b) You have already seen this position and studied it a bit at home (right...?) and your opponent probably hasn't, so you should be better prepared.

I know this video was months ago but it has helped me move from 680-830 in Blitz. Having open boards/positions where you are more familiar with the lines just puts players at my level in very difficult positions. Most games, when accepted, end in wins for me.

i watch few of levy's opening video, decide i like danish gambit, start studying it, and gone from 1150 to 1350 in 6 weeks. previously i always play e4, so when opponent refuse to cooperate in my gambit, i just play normal e4. but when they do cooperate, i usually do the triple gambit.

In the variation at 13:41 the only time I personally Queen trade is when I'm working on chasing a king down in the center since they can no longer castle, and at a 700 elo, the enemies won't be too accurate when dealing with being chased down in the center

a lot of these situations are quite similar to my beloved Morra gambit - just that it is the e pawn missing for black not the c pawn which seem to make it much more dangerous for black. I usually play the kings gambit after e5 - but this gambit looks worth to give it a try !

In the Danish declined danya proposed taking e5 and then after nxe5 you play nc3 and give black an opportunity to positional blunder with nf3 followed by f4 e5 kicking both knights and undeveloped blacks king knight like in the Vienna gambit

Please cover the muzio gambit (especially the double muzio gambit, 8. Bxf7), It is such an amazing gambit with so much that could go wrong for black. I never played someone who knew what to do against it, I'm rated 2000.

I would love a video on the King's Gambit, but TBH the Muzio if black play QF6 is not great. QF6 threatens QD4+ taking the bishop
