Crush Meta with Buster Blader x Dark Magician! Super fun anti-meta deck! [Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel]

I love playing Dark Magician & I love playing Buster Blader. Coincidentally, they work really well together. You can combine Buster Whelp (lvl 1 tuner) with Dark Magician (lvl 7 non-tuner) into a permanent Buster Dragon (because summoning Buster Dragon with Prologue of the Destruction Sword only lasts for 2 rounds, then it destroys itself).
You can also combine Buster Whelp with Dark Magician into the lvl 2 Buster Whelp link, which can help you in numerous ways.
Apart from combining these two archetypes, which ideally ends in a super op board, you can also play them seperately. You can either go for the Dark Magician route or for the Buster Blader route. Having both in your decks means you don't really brick a lot of the time! Dark Magician can be really strong by itself, Buster Blader can be strong by itself but If you can combine both combos, you almost have an unbreakable board.
AND both archetypes are super iconic, thematic and fun to play!
A combined board could mean the following:
1. Your opponent is forced into defense position
2. Your opponent cannot activate Monster effects
3. Your opponent is locked out of the extra deck
4. Your backrow is protected through Dark Magician the Dragon Knight
5. Your "Dark Magicians" are protected through your backrow
6. You have tons of body on the field, meaning you can probably OTK the following turn
7. You have 1 on-board banish each turn

I was already interested in building a new deck but i was feeling very uninteresting on many decks that i saw, even the meta ones, but i found your video and decided to give this deck a try and it's super interesting! I'm thinking on maybe change some cards of the deck future, but for now i'm already satisfied with this deck, maybe the most fun deck that i have played in Yu-Gi-Oh! Edit:i accidentally have write some stuff in a way that sounded confuse so i decided to edit haha.

Hmmmmm Dark Paladin in master duel. This reminds me of my old deck I ran in physical tcg minus all them expensive dark magician cards they had a few years back lol 😅

I know it was so cool in the anime and hella expensive when the new Dark Magician support came out. Is this deck made of the structure deck from MD??

Not necessarily made from the structure deck, but it contains a lot of cards from it. So if you get the structure deck 2-3 times, you'll have most, if not all of the needed dark magicians cards.

Yeah I built it last night unfortunately I'm out of ultra rare gems to crafter another Buster Blader dragon destroyer abs other xyz monsters for the extra deck

Ideally you probably want 2 buster blader fusions. However, if you just want to try out the deck, give it a few shots, you can definitely do so with only 1 buster blader fusion. Yeah, it might not be optimal, but you can already get a feel for how this deck plays out :) So if thats the only other important card you're missing, i'd say give it a shot now :)
