I had two Crux 35s over the last year or so. Give it a V3 with removable arms and I genuinely don't think I'd fly much more than that. After shattering too many bottom plates, I stuffed the components from them into Tiny Trainer v2 frames and rock those. The motors are about 1000kv under powered for the TTv2 spec, but they run quite well!
Great video! It reminded me of the fun I was having just learning FPV a year ago. This makes me really want to rebuild my Crux35 just as a cruiser. I had one a few months ago but I was doing some pretty hard flying and ended up getting tired of replacing bottom plates and motors. I found that 3.5" quads with 1404 sized motors are generally pretty efficient but I couldn't get anything to fly as long as this one. If I wasn't so focused on racing I might go and actually do some chill flying. Cheers!
I also have it for like 1 year and I love it. Btw I paid it 115$. Now you can find it for around 135$. In my honest oppinion that is the best value for the money. It might not carry Gopro, but it carries ThumbPro with no problem! (16g). My very first flight with it was first flight after whoop, so I was super scared and cautious so it lasted for like 19 mins. Amazing! Now I have ThumbPro mounted, I put heavier camera (Predator 5) an I also fly much faster, but it can still carry 7-8-rips or aroun 10min cruise. Amazing quad! high recommendation!
Yes, lol. I was doing some research on the motors, and they seem to be the most efficient 1404 motors on the market. And pard with the 3.5 inch proper relay explains the efficiency.
@@Kevin.L_ for sure they are both so close that its hard to pick😅😅i ended up going with the baby ape and it feels great so far, already upgraded to the runcam phoenix 2
