We use to call it what it was ("Smacked the wall"), Now they sugar-coat things.... That had less than the slightest resonance of a "Pancake" effect.

I don't know where ya got the "talking heads", but if those are the best you can find... forget it.

Englishtown is trash now that it's no longer a drag strip

Englishtown was constructed with a very large distance between the grandstands. That allowed a wide, slightly raised strip surface with no adjacent guardrails and around 25 feet of grass to the side before hitting anything. The flea market in the pits with on-track car show came later.

E-town was one of the best tracks around in the east....it lost it luster in the end.
