I used to think this song could not be covered well, but your voice (along with leaving the percussion and organ alone) really give it a kick in the ass. Love the pianoforte you hit at the climax. Completely unexpected and it works great.
It's been a Lost Boys few days! I watched the film on Saturday night, then today on the radio while I was at work they played both Good Times by INXS and Jimmy Barns, then Echoe and the Bunnymen's cover of People are strange, then you posted this (another one I've been trying to find a decent backing track for!) Still say it's probably THE best movie soundtrack ever! And awesome work by you as always, Chez!

now that I've just discovered this for myself I gotta correct everyone on the internwebs lol. The phrase after Blue Masquerade. Deep in your veins, I will not lie...' Is actually supposed to be deep in your veins I'll have 9 lives. Which makes more sense for a vampire centric song. Still a beautiful cover. Fantastic voice.
Wow i have heard many versions of this song but this is my favorite one beautiful voice my lady love the way it's sung great job they should have had you on the movie maybe they will make a new version of it and you can sing it wow.
