I’ve looked everywhere after hearing this on love island and yay I’ve found it. It’s sooo good

This was *ABSOLUTELY FREAKING GORGEOUS.* This is the sort of song that just gives you chills. The music, the use of the choirs-amazing, amazing touches. And Nicole’s vocals through the song started out strikingly beautiful from the get-go, but then proceeded to absolutely just surpass my expectations from there. I was not expecting the sheer intensity and emotional escalation. Freaking phenomenal. And of course the obvious use for this song would be in a story (probably a crime drama) dealing with spousal betrayal or the like…but actually the bigger context I was thinking of for it would be for a spy drama. It just has such a dark, intense, and “I MEAN BUSINESS” vibe to it. (It helps that I just watched _Terminal List_ recently, lol, plus have been a fan of movies like _Shooter_ and the _Bourne_ series for years. Listening to this song, I was PICTURING the moment a protagonist realizes and comes to terms with being betrayed by the same people who originally hired them, and then a montage of what comes after as they prepare to go to war. Whew!)

Tommee Profitt is some kind of wiz kid when it comes to music, this cover is an absolute masterpiece.
