[Cry of Fear] Apartments In Under 3 Minutes / Skips - (Read Description For Walkthrough Notes!) 

Today I will be showing you guys how to do 4 skips total in the apartment section of Cry of Fear. There are 2 small skips (Scaffolding and Rope skip) and 2 big skips (4th floor skip and Video-Tape skip). The easiest skip to do in this video is the scaffolding and rope skip, while the 4th floor and videotape skip are a harder, but not impossible. This is great for speed-running the game (such as myself) or if you want to skip this part of the game on a repeated playthrough.
(Steps and keyboard inputs)
1. Before entering the apartments, you must do some scaffolding parkour. Instead of doing it the intended (and slower) way, you can do it much faster, skipping the ladder as well. At 0:04 seconds into the video, crouch jump onto the wooden slab. After that, jump onto the first rebar, and then position yourself to jump onto the second rebar next to you. Then jump onto the scaffolding that has the ladder next to it.
2. At 0:11 seconds into the video, instead of using the ladder, go towards the door on the scaffolding and look up. When you look up, you should see the doors you're actually supposed to go through. Position yourself so that you can jump and spam E (interact button) to use the door beneath the concreate floor. If done right, you are now into the apartments.
3. Make your way to the door you're supposed to go through normally. Instead of using the door, at 0:20 seconds into the video, crouch jump onto the blue rails. Once you are on the blue rails, look up above the door and crouch jump while spamming E (interact button) to use the 4th floor door above you. If done right, you are now on floor 4 and in the apartment of the dead guy in the bathtub.
4. At 0:37 seconds into the video, you would usually have to go to the balcony to cue the cutscene of not having a rope, to then be ambushed by a mutilated woman. Instead, you can simply crouch, face the wall opposite of the sink, and spam E (interact button) to obtain the rope. All you have to do now is go to the balcony, skip the cutscene, and place the rope to get to floor 3.
5. From the 3rd floor, make your way to the 2nd floor. Once at the 2nd floor, make your way to the apartment with the video-player, you will NOT need the videotape to see the elevator code!
6. At 1:51 seconds into the video, position yourself in the corner of the room next to the video player. When the mutilated women comes out, DO NOT KILL HER! She is very important! As she is attacking you, crouch jump and spam E (interact button) on the video player until the cutscene cues. When the cutscene cues, skip it and click on the video player again to get the code faster. After that you can make your way to the apartment hub area / stairs area and go to the elevator at the top of the apartments to enter the code and be done with the area!
