This has to be my favorite play through. At first I didn’t want angel but her and cry’s chemistry brings the game alive. Every time I get a notification for this play through it just makes my entire day. I don’t want this game to ever end.

I hope the gods of chance smile upon Angus, because it's the only real chance to hang with him one on one and it's so heartfelt and beautiful I just really hope Cry and Angel get to experience it

I like that the opossum is named rabies... But technically they can't carry the rabies virus. Their body temperature is too low to house the virus. That's my fun fact of the day :3

Please spend more time with Gregg in the next episode. I know Bea's cool (she is, definitely) but Mae and Gregg have a really sweet friendship. Loving the playthrough all the same x

Both Gregg's and Angus' quests are pretty awesome, but Angus' is my favorite (and there might be something ELSE you get out of it *eyebrows waggle* But no matter which one you pick I'll be happy Buuuuuut you should totally maybe probably go back to the bridge and have a nice restful sit *INTENSE EYEBROW WAGGLE*

am i the only one who notices the link between Mae's dreams and her awake-ness? in her dreams she has to find all the musicians and then reticently she met a violinist and an clarinet player during the time she is awake... i dont know how to explain this properly.

Tbh, I’ve been listening to this night in the woods play through to sleep or fill silences for at least 3 years now. It’s become like a bedtime story you know all the words to…strangely comforting? Idk.

I've been waiting for this video, plz you have to do Angus on the next adventure, you get to see a special secret if you do! I thought the mace story was hilarious, reminds me of the time our dog ran into the fridge at full speed while chasing her bone, she was fine after a while but she passed out when she hit it.

I'll be honest, I am not into the game, but what I am into is Cry and Angel playing together. They make an hour long video of a game I don't like too much fun!

I know a lot of people have also said it, but I gotta throw in one more opinion - please do more stuff with Angel! You guys seem to have great chemistry and play off each other's humor well, and it's added so much to this series. I sort of never want it to end! It's been amazing!

I heard of a grave- the “Merry Cemetery” in Sapanta, Romania- in it they dipict the dead sometimes doing things they like, sometimes depicting how they died... it's kind of interesting.

When you said you were leaving it up to chance, I checked and saw you ended up going with Angus. And honestly, as much as I've complained in the comments about yall never hanging out with Gregg... I'm really really glad you did Angus' ghost hunt. You obviously already know this since you already played it, but his hangout is one of the best scenes in the game and you really get to bond with him. I am not ashamed to say I was outright crying when I played it for the first time. Anyway this is a great episode, and here's my legally obligated comment that I would really love it if you guys went back sometime and played through the Gregg scenes you missed since they're so great.

So I've watched this game in another LP before and completed it twice and watched some really good critical discussion around the game, the lore, the world, and how it all ties together. And I just now realized THIS TIME that the big creatures that in previous dreams made no sense to Mae but the cat does. Granted these are representations of some sort of cthulhu gods but still...makes so much "simple sense".

I promise, after my summer job ends, I'm gonna buy a lot of food, take a sit with my cat, and I'll watch the 7 videos I've missin.

This series right here is a bunch of good choices: the game, from the beginning i knew this was going to be an interesting one, and it is keeping expectations; the whole sharing thing i think it's great, it really feels like a different experience, and maybe even a guy like Cry may have had some issues with all these characters; last but not least Angel, she really is an underrated one and i'm glad she's in for the whole adventure. To sum it up, good choices Cry. Imho.

This is probably the episode that made me want to pick up this game again. I didn't get this far when I was playing because my old laptop was so bad, the dreams made it chug way too hard that it actually died while playing it. I'm going to sit through this entire play through first though, as I was doing different things in mine, and I want to see how yours goes. Eagerly awaiting the next one!

I have a theory! The ghost is Bea's mother! The sink holes must have pulled her down and she must have lived somehow. The similarities in head shapes between Bea and the ghost are almost remarkable! But then again ........the ghost running is by far the scariest shit I've ever seen!

the graveyard song is one of my favorites from the soundtrack. i think it's called "graveyard main" or "graveyard investigations" depending on where you look.

Going out on a limb here but I think that thing in the dream was a spirit (not exactly a ghost or god). Here's my theory: The spirit was either the spirit of Possum Springs, Mae's spirit guide (which I think is the less likely), or Mae's own inner spirit which is expressing Mae's fear of everything being meaningless and changing and ending. The spirit senses that there will be a sink hole (the "beginning" mentioned being either Mae's birth or the founding of Possum Springs and the "ending" either being the end of Mae's life as she knows it or the end of the town) and that it will swallowing everything ("everything" not being literally everything such as the "universe" mentioned is not actually the "universe" but Mae's or Possum Springs own view of life. Mae's "everything" is her home, friends, and family. Possum Spring's "everything" is the area on which it exists). Personally, I think the idea that the spirit and the dream are Mae's own is most likely, seeing what the game has been leaving subtle hints about (especially with the first dream starting with Mae breaking down a statue that really reminded me of the statue that kept pointing that Mae mentioned she hated from her college and how very familiar looking animals would sort of "merge" or something with Mae's spirit and make her pass out at the end of every dream).

Oh, jeez.. I remember, when I was like 9 or 10, pigeon-mom made a nest outside our window.. and when baby-pigeons hatched I felt very sad that they had to spend so much time without their mom who was seeking for food. And being the kind and stupid soul I am I decided to gather some rain-worms to feed them. Guess what? They didn't eat my offering and so the worms just rotted causing unsanitary conditions for that bird-family and they just left! My heart is broken to this day T^T
