I haven't seen your videos in a WHILE. Everytime I come here I feel immediately put back into a 2014 mentality and it makes me weird in the head, man. I'm not good on time chronology. Anyways, I still appreciate the hell outta you and I check whatcha doing on twitter time to time. It was incredibly accurate to hear you now say you wanna change it up. Go all in. Do dance class videos, cooking videos, all while still not showing your visual features, I'm all in for any of it.

Cry I'm fairly certain I can speak for a good majority of the fans out there, and I just want to personally say that I watch you for you, not whatever game your playing. The games are always an interesting side note but you're personality and quirks are the best part! We just want you to be happy and we'll support you no matter what. Honestly, shorter playthroughs on the channel sound good. Once I get behind on the long playthroughs I can never catch up. And bring back Cry Tries, or Cry Abridged sounds great, maybe you can abridge the longer twitch games; you'd have the footage and only need to edit rather than both. Just an idea.

Hey Cry, I know you probably wont see this, but it seems like it's time for me to send you a little note. You dont know me, but we've sort of been together for a while. And while I cant tell you exactly when I subscribed to you, I have seen you do, play, and try many things. From your wonderful let's plays, to the "Cry Reads" videos I used to use as pseudo bedtime stories, to being sweet enough to share your first ever wise words to your new little neice with all of us - you've done a lot. And you've done a lot for me, in particular. A couple years ago, when I had to be in a home hospital schooling program after a suicide attempt, your videos were one of the only things that helped me to get up and to go on every day. In a time when my only real social interactions were a public school tutor who came to my house to give me coursework a couple of days a week, and seeing doctors, you were like a friend to me. Someone I could look forward to laughing and watching a new story and new world unfold together alongside before our very eyes. Anyways, all one-sided internet parasocial relationships aside, I guess what I'm trying to say is this: I love your couches, Cry. They're soft and warm and cozy. And to me, they feel like home. But I've seen you build so many incredible things - tables that perfectly fit a board for a game with friends, rocking chairs perfect for storytime, and even a stage for an audio drama of epic proportions ($60 well spent). So if you wanna build a stool Cry, go ahead and build a stool. Cause while you've made some of the best damn couches I've ever seen, you're not a couch builder. You're a craftsman, and you have been this whole time, and I trust whatever you choose to make for us next will be just as incredible. All my love, -🦊

Because of the limited Twitch VoD system, is it possible that you could post stream VoDs here as well? I appreciate that Jesse Cox posts any game series that he completes on stream; and, Dodger seems to have a one-to-one system, but kindly identifies what games are featured in each VoD, so viewers can follow a game series that way. If Twitch didn't eat things, I wouldn't ask; but, trying to follow your recent Layton shenanigans and having witnessed the greatness that was Yakuza 0, I sincerely hope this would be a viable compromise with those of us unable to catch livestreams.

Ironically, Rule of Rose is one of my favourite letsplays you 've done Cry. It was what got me to subscribe to you and although you hate it I'll always remember it fondly

I will admit I am disappointed that you're ending the Vampyr playthrough, but I understand where you're coming from Cry. I get bored with some of my games too. If ending the Vampyr series will make you happier then I'll be fine. Your happiness is more important than my happiness. Well my happiness is important too, but you get what I'm saying. So i'm just going to throw this out there, dunno how you would feel about it - but have you ever considered doing "Capstone" episodes for series you get tired of and don't feel like finishing? I hear you when you say "Man, i'm not feeling this any more, this is exhausting" - and I think most people understand that feeling when the magic has gone out of something. Now maybe i'm imagining things, but I also get the sense that you feel like you're disappointing people by leaving something unfinished - and then worrying that you might be disappointing everyone who comes along later and finds a series that just sort of... peters out around the 20 episode mark. So my thought was instead of just leaving the last episode hanging, what you could do is attach a short video to the end of that series explaining what's happened - and either make it a highlight reel kind of thing, or just do a couple of things in your questlog or whatever that you find interesting, or even just take a walk around the gameworld showing off things you liked. That way it'd have a definite "End Point" for people who come along later, and you could also leave things on a sort of high note. I dunno, i'm just spitballing here. Take care of yourself dude. PS: I think that particular Blue Guy hit you five times.

Man cry, i couldnt tell you were sick of Vampyr at all. Its such an interesting story! But none of us are upset that you dont wanna play it... Its YOUR channel!! Do what you want! But i will ask that, for really good long games you play, could you post the unedited "cry streams" on youtube? My schedule doesnt work with your stream schedule and i'd love to continue to enjoy the games you play. If its not inconvenient for one little sub to ask for!

I wasn't aware of the Abridged Format on your channel but dude, those are awesome. I love you as a let's player on twitch (I actually start my day by opening up your last stream while working since you and all of your guests are just so god damn chill it's beautiful) but I have to say that I haven't watched a playthrough of yours in probably 4 years... and I'm glad to say with whatever you will put out now, you're going to be on my list of youtubers that I look forward to everytime they make a new video.

I mean, I liked the Vampyr series, but I'll happily pull the trigger on it multiple times if it means bringing Reads back. (I got a special place in my heart for Cry Reads)

It's okay Cry, we understand. Although I did enjoy watching the Vampyr series, I can see how it would be... not as fun to play it, and not everyone's 'cup of tea'. It was getting a bit repetitive, most of the story seemed to be hidden in side missions, dialogue and reading documents and I gotta admit I kind of felt lost at times in what was actually going on. SO, I fully support your decision to end the series and do something else, because it's much more fun watching you play stuff you enjoy anyway. Looking forward to what you do next, and to seeing Angel on the channel again

I will admit, I'm disappointed that you're stopping Vampyr cause I was genuinely loving it. (I looove that whole old time London vamp/werewolf type setting) But! Your mental health and happiness comes first before our entertainment. I've stuck around for several years (off and on admittingly, but I'm still here!) because I enjoy your personality and how chill/real you are compared to other youtubers. No over the top drama. No faking it for the views. No forcing yourself to play games you don't like because people demand them of you. I'm a bit sad that you decided to end your Vampyr playthrough, but it doesn't surprise me that much, to be honest. Since I'm not on Twitch, I can see how many days pass between two YT videos. I thought that it was because you were more focused on your Twitch content for now, but if you were not enjoying the game, it makes sense that you did not upload videos as fast as before. With that being said, I'm totaly ok with you playing shorter games and trying new/old things on RU-vid ! As long as you have fun, I'm ok with it, and I'm sure a lot of people will agree with me :) So, do what you want and love, and we will be here to support you !

Dude, I think we all love your short series and I think we all want you to be happy and do whatever makes you happy - let's be honest we watch you not because the games you play but because of your personality and that angel voice of yours and the games are just a nice finishing touch. As for the long playthroughs I'm fine with long unedited streams especially if you have them on twitch after the live streaming (unfortunately I rarely manage to watch a full live stream)! I really don't mind watching both RU-vid and Twitch. I think we all love you for being true to us and not acting like a lot of other gamers and youtubers just to be more interesting.

It's okay Cry, Vampyr peaks in the beginning of the second act, and never really picks up again after that. For everything Vampyr gets right it messes up literally everything else.

I haven't watched much on your twitch channel because the videos were really long but maybe I could try it out once in a while. For me your Tries Videos are really awesome, because they help me find Games I haven't heard much about and one of them even became my favorite game. Please don't feel like you need to force yourself to play a game you don't enjoy anymore. Hearing you enjoying the game is one of the reasons I come hear in the first place. Now this might sound like some bullshit but I swear as soon as you started getting bored with it, watching you play it was meh. Okay, maybe not as soon but it was sort maybe a little clear in these last few episodes. you just didn't seem as into it as before. and that's not your fault obviously people get bored of things! I loved your Abridges videos! And I love the shorter playtroughs too! I sorta gave up on the Vampyr LP a few weeks ago, cause I didn't have much time to watch it. I played the game myself a bit after seeing you play it, earlier this summer, and I dropped it sometime after Whitechapel and the nurse Crane story. I am hyped for whatever you'll do with Jesse, Dodger and Crendor, cause y'all are some of my favourite people. Boy, of course you don't want to play Vampyr anymore. It's a single player RPG, you're supposed to play it from beginning to end in 1 to 2 weeks. It's been literally months since you started playing; of course you can't stand it anymore, no one's attention span is that good, and you stretched your own attention span extremely thin with this game. =/

Maybe I'm in the minority here but I still enjoy playthroughs, with that being said all the channels I watch that still do them are channels that play them with friends I've always enjoyed your content regardless Cry but I've always believed you were at the top of your game when you had another person along with you, you always just seem more happy with a pal which in turn makes the content that much more enjoyable. I at least think I am in the majority when I say we are more happy when you are happy doin what you're doin or at the very least not bored which can be easy to become when you're just talking to yourself in these videos.

Cry, man, never force yourself to push through a game man, if you're not enjoying it or not having fun don't play it. I would love to see you play Detroit Become Human! In my opinion, it’s the best game of 2018 It’s a futuristic game, where androids are apart of our world, and we follow the story of 3 main characters, all of them being androids, and you choose how they will end up, but basically it’s kinda the fear we have right now, of Artificial Intelligence having their own will to do and think as they please. It’s super interesting, and i definitely think you should play it!!

I have to say I loved your Vampyr playthrough, it helped me zone out of my problems and not think about them for around 30 minutes/1 hour. Of course it’s your time and you can do it whatever you see fit!

I mean, I'd love it if you could post long playthroughs on here the same way you did with Nier Automata. Draxr managed to capture the way you do things pretty damn well I think and I'm sure it was far less stressful for you overall. Not sure of your arrangement with the guy though so I dunno what your thoughts on the matter is overall. Either way, just my take on it~ Been around since that weird massive youtuber group match on Guns of Icarus and I found you by accident looking through everyone on it.
