They missed a trick not using mess panels like UF Pro to create better air flow in the pants. Also wondered if the garments have been pre treated with permethrin ?
Looks good is the fly zippered or buttoned? I hope its button because you don't want your tighty whities giving you away if that zipper breaks, which they tend to do and at the wrong time usually.
Those exposed buttons are a bad idea and they will quickly snag and get ripped off in thick foliage. Kneepads add fabric and weight and in a tropical environment not really needed in most situations. Those zippers on the pants pockets didn't look very heavy duty so not sure how long they would hold up with real use. This looks like it needs a lot more real world refinement. I don't know if it would really be any better than ripstop BDUs.
What jungle are we going to fight in next? Also, aren't combat shirts the thing to have these days, or was this top designed with armor being too hot in a jungle environment?
The US currently has special operations in jungle environments and a market for those countries themselves. I'll guess with all the button usage it wasn't specifically meant for armor, but should be possible
