Same. I think especially now they are at the point where they’re ready. What with finishing post grad school and having steady jobs. I don’t believe in moving in together before marriage but I understand that it’s not as big of a deal for people these days. Hopefully this helps them get used to each other more.

It is not a key. In many countries, you can open the lock for the bathroom (from the outside) with any coin or knife tip. It looks like he used a coin. Such safety feature is there exactly for this reason (someone sliping on a wet surface in the bathroom, and being not responsive).

A lot of people keys for their bathrooms. Kids, elderly, and handy capped people have accidents. Also some people are just accident prone and lock themselves out of their bathrooms. You must not be over the age of 25 lol.
