that was actually really nice! a lot of the overclocks i wanted to get originally have been dropped in season 5 like this one, the mortar rounds, lok-1 unstable and the rest looked good af ggs!
Thought i should say this just in case you didn't know yet but you can freeze Vartok Scalebrambles while they are armoured, you still can't damage them though but it really helps being able to immobilise them for a while (roughly 1 cryo bolt on basic haz 5 freezes them, just in case haz 6x2 increases freezing requirement or something)
I tried that new OC for the minigun today, not really keen on it TBH, though it might be better for Elim missions. T5B seems to be just useless on it, it builds heat so damn fast. Thinking about it, T5A sounds like it might work better with the coolant gimmick.
@@cubefatherAll of the drillers overclocks are very good, though I would say this one feels slightly weaker, but only because of one thing - the crystals tend to break a frequently, unlike how it is with sticky fuel, so big targets like a Preatorians and Oppressors barely receive any cold from them. However upside is apparent - you are much less reliant on your secondary to clear weaker frozen bugs. So your secondary slot feels much less restrained then with other overclocks (except the Ice Storm). Finally, being Ice Spear die-hard I now have a new take on a cryo-build that I genuinely enjoy
Having played both, the pacing is slower on 5+ and you have more down time because the swarm timer is slower, but the enemies are faster and hit harder. On 6x2 you have to move faster and there is a greater number and variety of enemies so it is harder in that regard. But why make this comment?
@@cubefather as for me new haz5+max killed „leave no minerals behind” gameplay, at some point i thought that haz5.5x3 is easier to do that, plus haz5+max ruined my builds for killing not so fast, meanwhile lowering ammo efficiency for time to kill with the same amount of ammo neans for me to kill less and forces me to finish the mission as fast as possible. unless… whole team as one organism that i would never have
