You always manage to inject into your line-up of songs--something very appropriate [and necessary] for the times. So evocative of earlier times when folks sought a very basic way to deal with life's problems--go to church and pray for help! A chapel is in many ways more welcoming for a troubled soul than a huge ornate cathedral with all its distractions. I've always loved the Elvis version--and sang along with it. Truthfully, I appreciated his music later in my life than I did in the 50's [had more time to really listen:-). You play this in a lower register--adding to the solemnity of the lyrics. Plus you definitely make this your own--and are very comfortable with that stunning white guitar. People listening to this tune for the first time would embrace it immediately--not necessarily look for 'other versions' to compare it with. They would absolutely love it!!!!! As do I..... Lastly, great look with the royal blue [shiny!] shirt and white tie--they complement the guitar nicely! Love ya!!!!
