I don’t usually like to comment on videos but I feel like I need to put this out there for others. This video is very special during this time, back in November 2019 I experienced my first panic attack. It only worsened into 2020, making it crippling for me. I’d have thoughts of fear about when the next panic attack would arise, which then led to intrusive thinking. I felt paralyzed like there was nothing for me to look forward to, I would tell myself I’d be better off dead than to deal with the horrible thoughts I was having. Mind you I was reading my Bible daily, praying morning and night wondering when I’d have a miracle happen. A couple days before New Years I couldn’t take it anymore, I felt like I was fighting my feelings, trying to keep my sadness in so that it wouldn’t affect my husband or son. While I was doing laundry my husband asked me if I was okay and I just let it all out. It was like a cry I have never had before, I can’t even explain it but I cried! I kept crying and just telling God “Lord why?? I’ve done all you told me to do, I’ve prayed, read my word, I’ve relied on you.” I told him I couldn’t do it anymore, and that whatever good was supposed to come out of this endurance I couldn’t go on anymore. My husband just hugged me and let me have that moment that I’ve desperately needed. I feel much better now, I felt like I just needed to cry out. I can feel God’s peace again little by little each day. I’m only 22, and I felt like my anxiety was robbing me of the joy I had as a mother and wife. When I wake up, I tell myself “today I choose peace.” To anyone that’s suffering with intrusive thoughts, anxiety, depression, whatever it is your going through, I’m fighting with you. I’m working everyday on ignoring those lies in my head, it’s not easy but I know there’s glory at the end of this road. Aaron I love how you mentioned “it didn’t happen instantly,” your videos have helped me tremendously! I know God’s working through me.

Stand firm and remain in faith, a good way I visualize my hard days is picturing a piece of thread attached to my back, and God picking up that thread and taking me to the next day. You will get through this, don’t worry I still have my moments but I’m trying to live in gratitude this year!

After I cried it felt like God’s arms were wrapped around me, it’s hard to explain but it was a peace I’d never felt or experienced before. I’m praying for you Joanne, the days will get better.
Hi Miranda, thank you for sharing. I'm sorry to hear of your sufferings. I'm glad you have a caring husband to support you. Although the road you are currently on is marked with suffering and pain, I urge you to carry on, but allow Jesus to carry you through it all. That's what you must learn to do through this trial. By believing in His promises, surrender all and let Jesus carry you. This means letting go of all "what ifs", like "what if another panic attack comes?" You must let it all go by reckoning you died with Christ, and now it is Jesus who lives in you. And if a panic attack or something else comes, remember the word of God: He uses all things for your good; even panic attacks. This means your life is no longer your own, but God is your life. This means none of your problems belong to you, but it all rests on God's shoulders. And God's shoulders are broad and strong enough to carry you forever. So, let go and let God take over. Whatever happens, trust in God. When you start your day, carry on by doing what you believe God wants you to do as a mother, wife, etc, but leave ALL the consequences to God. This is living a totally surrendered and trusting life in God alone, and the fruits of this life is not only freedom, but victory. Don't give up! God bless you.
I’m at the end. I’m praying all day today because I do not see a way out, I’m in the pure shadow of death whether my sins lead me here or not. I’m dealing with a chronic illness and neurological problems from psychiatric drugs that I am no longer on, and on top of that my OCD is way too heavy for me to even deal with. I cannot even think straight most the time, I’m trusting in God’s merciful character to save me out of this hole

Praise be to God!!!! I can testify of this very thing. Oh how I praise God that I am no longer in that darkness, held captive by evil. Thank you Father every day for getting me out of that. And I did, I cried out in desperation. And He led me to peace

I don’t know how to surrender to God. I am trying to protect my family and am struggling so badly with other things and cry and pray to God non stop. My worries consume me. I’m grateful to listen to someone like you. I tell God I’ll do anything he needs but right now I’m so weak.

Thank you for your videos theyre very uplifting. I feel like i surrendered a 1,000 times and then somehow i try to take back control. Its so frustrating,i end up at the same place and then the guilt of feeling like a loser comes in. I know He is allowing this for a reason, it just definitely hurts. I prayed for you. May the Lord lead you to total freedom through complete and lasting surrender and trust in Jesus alone. Even if it is a 1,000 times, don't stop. It is possible with God, so whenever you are tempted to take control back, immediately surrender all to God. God bless you.
My dear brother in Christ. I cannot believe how timely your message is!! I have been feeling lately that I cannot go on for one more day in this torment, depression and now, physical illness. I had given up, because I haven't been able to function in any way at all, and I haven't had the capacity to love those who love me... Im not as strong as you but i dont know how it still made this 2021. Right now i cant sleep because of palpitations i did exercise, im so tired as if nothing works. U said when u lack sleep or cant sleep but the grace of god will strengthen me for the next day. Help me with do not protect your sleep. Help me remove my fear of not sleeping or resting every night. Because im not trusting god i keep worrying its so hard for someone with anxiety not to worry or over think.

Hi Aaron, it's been such a crazy year with the pandemic, and i cant believe im still here!!! I can only thank God for that. Just to give you an update, im currently reading Jeremiah, it's been seven months since i started reading the bible (back in May). The interesting thing is that the rest of my family started reading the bible around the same time and there is one family member per household who is staying at home, (im one of them) probably because God wants our fullest attention. It's as if we are reading the bible so that we are prepared for whats coming ahead. There is a plan for sure.

I pray you see the truth, the fruit of the Spirit is joy, peace etc. When I went through my trials, I was shown the enemy lies, trying to trick us into staying in the darkness and following into the misery, separation from peace, joy and tries to make us think its Gods will. Jesus rescues us, brings us into light, washes us clean, how we then praise Him, He delivers us! Come to Me, all u who are weary and heavily laden, I will give you rest. @Golden Fenrir .. we all have moments in life, human emotions, reactions to situations. But phuoc thuy lamNgoc was saying they're stuck in a lot of suffering/misery. When I'm stuck, I yearn to be freed from slavery, into joy, peace. The enemy lies to get me to believe it is Gods will to continue to stay stuck. Jesus praying to the Father says John 17:15 “I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. Please read Matt 11:28-30. In verse 28 He says "come to Me, I will give you rest". How can we have the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23 which includes joy and peace, if we are stuck in constant misery and battles. Hi David, it's good to hear from you. When you enter a state of panic, I encourage you to dwell on God's promises that you have memorized or have on your phone. Surrender your existence to God and block out all other thought but God's promises. When I was in a state of panic, I especially held onto 2 Cor 12:9, Romans 8:28, and Gal 2:20. I basically thought of those promises and chose to believe them no matter my pain and circumstances. It is the most powerful and effective remedy in my opinion when fear attacks. As you do this, you will get better. It may be gradual, but you will get better as you surrender and trust in Jesus. Keep up the good fight brother. Surrender and let Jesus fight for you and carry you through every battlefield. God bless you.
It happened to me. It's a daily battle. Like Peter..he did really well when he kept his eyes on Jesus but sank when took his eyes off. I find that when my eyes and heart and mind are on Him I don't have anxiety. The moment eyes get off i sink. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you.

It's really a struggle I get same anxiety and it's such a bad thing but keep reading the word of God and 100 focus on Him. I found out when I've given up hope and stopped reading the word, the anxiety kicks in with too much fear that I can't even focus on anything. I have some very good days when I lean on Jesus.
After several months its still hard to trust god anxiety overcome me. Im protecting my sleep by going to bed at the same time. Sometimes i want to just be gone.
I encourage you to stop protecting your sleep. It's okay to go to bed at generally the same time, but as you entrust your sleep to God you will find yourself being less ritualistic about your sleep. You must surrender all in order to be free. God bless you.

I must confess something I struggle with - bizarrely, given I know the Holy Spirit is within me and have experienced Christ over many years - is whether God even exists, or rather whether He can help me, given these doubts. The universe seems so random and cruel, and me a victim of bad choices (playing loud worship music leading to tinnitus! and many difficult, long term life circumstances...) Have you yourself encountered God in an undeniable way? I trust you, and loved your testimony of Jesus entering your heart. Theology and apologetics don't bless me so much as they did when I was a teenager; it is more these encounters people have that remind me God cares.
Hello, you are definitely not alone in those thoughts. I heard of strong Christian missionaries doubting God once they were put in prison for their faith. These moments in life come for many believers, and it is an opportunity for us to exercise our faith even when the feelings are gone. Yes, I have experienced God undeniably a few times in my life. I journaled them and I hope to remember them forever. When my faith is weak, I often remember those times and my faith is strengthened. We read about God in the Bible, we pray to Him, and we get to experience Him. When in doubt, openly and honestly tell God what you are thinking and going through, and simply ask for help. Then He will help you! Ask Him to reveal Himself to you in a fresh new way. God will always give us what we need, and often more than we need. Don’t give up! God bless you.

Hi Gerry, crying does not mean you are either sincere or not sincere. Don’t rely on such things as emotions as evidence, but only what God’s word says.

My major sin I think, is, I'll lie, especially if i dont pay attention (which is when I feel like I no longer care about the conversation which makes me blatantly rude). Hey Aaron hope you had a nice holiday. I just wanted to ask since we are in the new year already, and everybody just received all of their flashy new gifts on Christmas. I noticed that people have been going crazy in my family over the ps5. And before you ask I'm the only one saved in my family, but that besides the point that I'm trying to come across. What I'm trying to say is that I have noticed people in this country mainly celebrate Christmas these days for as an excuse to buy and consume new products. They seem to forget that Christmas is about our lord and savior, which bothers me because I see it as going along the lines of idolatry. And the reason that I bring this up is because I too also have nice expensive things. I try not to obssess over these new flashy products and I don't have the right to judge people, just because they have the money to spend and treat themselves. But what if a Christian such as myself doesn't mind spending a little bit of big bucks on a new product like a new iphone etc. Is it ok to do this because sometimes I feel like the desire to have the new flashy phone,car,videogame console etc. tends to put people such as myself in that position throwing God on the back burner and pursuing worldly pleasures in this consumerist society. I feel guilty sometimes wanting a brand new car or new phone. I'm not the biggest consumer in the world but I do tend to fall victim to this. So do you consider this idolatry because I have noticed many people that say that they are Christian go crazy buying the new hot "toy" of the year, then seem to be less excited over our lords day of birth.
Hi friend, I believe it is okay to have nice things as long as you do not idolize those things. Nothing should be above God in your heart. For example, Job was very wealthy, but held God in his heart above all wealth. Also, King David was very wealthy, and the Lord blessed Him with it for David to enjoy and live in thanksgiving before the Lord. There are other considerations, but the most important thing to consider is where your heart is.
2 Cor 2 But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness. 2 For if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me?
Are you saying that the things we are fearful about are things we have not surrendered? Is that how we know whether we surrendered or not..whether we are still fearful or not? So if feeling sick and feeling fear of death it means I need to surrender my life to God? But then the fear comes of what if God will take my life? Is that fear from Satan?
Every fear is a lie. And when you worry or are fearful, it is a sign of you needing to surrender. If you are fearful of death, surrender your life to Him to do as He pleases with you. In order to surrender your life to Him, you must believe He is who He says He is and will keep His words. You can choose to believe, and then place your life in His hands. If you keep worrying, keep surrendering. It is good to make prayers like this when you are trying to surrender: "Lord, I'm willing to be made willing." God bless you.
@@aaronkim1074 thank you. The Spirit is willing but the carnal mind hates it and resists it. Jesus said it's a daily cross and it sure feels like a daily battle against my own self.
Aaron, I apologize for all the comments on multiple vids. I'm just desperate. The physical pain and emotional anguish with panic and depression are just about too much for me. What do you do when constant anxiety and panic turn into anger? I'm starting to treat others aggressively and it's disturbing. I've cried out and cried out and still behind those bars. I've told the Lord I surrender totally. I don't know of anything I'm holding back. Still without relief. I just can't control the thoughts. I can't back up and see. I just don't know how to trust. I'm trying but anger gets in the way now. I'm sorry for complaining. I don't know what else to do.
I feel heart broken and soon family is leaving me off island today. I dont know anymore and few days I had a panic attack and I dont know anymore so broken, lonely and no life lately feel sometimes do something stupid because is so hard and lately cried so much... I dont know anymore
Joseph, I’m going to assume you are a Christian as I write you. Surrender it all to God. That’s all you can do and should do. Then simply trust in His promises over you because they are true. God keeps all your tears in a bottle. He knows your pain and understands, and He is using all of it for your good and His glory. What you need to do is trust Him. Don’t fear, but get up and do what you believe God wants you to do and leave ALL the consequences to God. Humble yourself as a child before God, and be free by leaving all your cares at His feet knowing God will take care of it all.
