The faster you clear, the less you should prioritize anything other than DKs when looping for the DKs. I talk about this more in the Goblin Cave, in the crypt-elite-rotation channel. Join to learn more! discord.gg/pmBvHqTmB9 1. I somehow accidentally deleted my ground hour I was going to upload with this video. I will be recording and uploading a new one ASAP!!!! 2. Everyone should grind however they want, in whatever manner works, and is comfortable for you. This video showcases how I grind at Crypt, using a method I refer to as the Elite Rotation. As a grinder, my purpose is to benchmark different approaches to grinding. The views expressed are my opinions, formed after dozens of hours of grinding, meticulously tracking results. 3. My goal is to learn new strategies and share what I've learned with you. I encourage you to share your thoughts and experiences with me as well. Together, we can explore different grinding methods and find what works best for each of us :) Join us in the Goblin Cave Discord! discord.gg/pmBvHqTmB9 It's a community I just made for min-max grinders to talk about.. min-max grinding and stuff. It's brand new, so come say hello, and let's improve the Elite Rotation together :)
Yep, I've done two hours so far and it's fun gliding from room to room. Just takes some time to learn the correct path to each room, you can easily get lost in there. hahaha 😂
Yes. I am moving right now and getting my office setup. Currently running into some issues with the installation at the new place, so I haven't been able to get a video recorded and uploaded 😩
Do you think this would still be an improvement in trash for players with a higher clear rate? AFAIK the top grinders are clearing 25.5-26k on 2-room rotation (Marni + downhill). I agree though that even comparable trash with more DKs should be a higher belt droprate, but 15-25% more trash would put those players over 30k.
Yes, it's still an improvement, because you're only rotating when DKs are spawned. a DK loop for fast clearers should be even faster. Naturally, classes with better mobility and superior clearing will be able to leverage this advantage more. Also, even if for some reason it ends up being net-neutral, you can still apply the concepts to the standard 2-room variant. Using all 4 rooms is not required, it's just the upper limit of what is possible. Things like taking advantage of known timers, such as DK spawns and keeping a tight respawn on them by killing them as quickly as possible, not wasting time leashing the Marni Bear, efficiently killing the Bear in Lower, leashing the Wolf in Main, are what are important, so you can personally optimize the rotation to suit your grind. All of these things are room-independent mechanics and apply generally at Crypt. So far, no one I know has gotten less than a 15% increase where a skill issue wasn't the primary reason.
@@alienturtle5448yeah iirc he told me his highest was 25.9k. I don't play Mystic or Succ Witch so I can't really attest to what the rotation's like. I am sure there are several considerations that'd required a few hours' observation. Or maybe not. haha. We shall see.
No, not anymore.. Sadly PA nerfed this a couple of months ago. :( We are still optimizing Crypt in the Discord, though. Feel free to join if interested.
Could you give a quick Insight in how to handle accuracy at this Spot? Ive seen People either stacking Acc with cheap Crystals and Insight perfumes or People taking 2 elkarrs and thats it. Should you Always try to grind without any misses or are some misses okay because of the damage you gain by not stacking accuracy Like a crazy person?
If your ability is for damage, in that it is a part of your main combo and is responsible for mobs dying, it needs to hit. I highly recommend using garmoth.com for your character. once everything is filled out and accurately reflects your character, it becomes very easy to calculate things like hit rate. If you have Discord, join the Goblin Cave discord.gg/pmBvHqTmB9 and I can help you more actively. RU-vid comments are a bit slow :) Otherwise, it's difficult to say. I could tell you the answer, but a lot of people find it controversial. My next video is specifically about this topic, optimizing your build for Crypt, regardless of class. If you want the simple answer, don't take as much AP as you think you need, and you might be surprised at what you find :)
@@sleepingsage that is a smart answer, keeping me glued to the screen waiting for your next Video :D but thanks, you already said enough. It makes sense If I want my big hits to not miss 5% of the time and rather sacrifice some ap for accuracy. Looking at Garmoth I would need 2 Elkarrs and 2 Vipers to hit 98% of the time. But then, where to allocate it. Use exquisite instead of simple? Or Insight instead of Courage? Ominous instead of Jetina? Vipers (elkarrs already equipped) instead of Macalods or rather instead of Decimations?
@@jonimohniDon't use Courage, do use Exquisite. Do you have a Garmoth link to your gear? As long as your are >830 AP with Exquisite, you should be using that, unless you want/prefer the -6% damage from monsters found on Simple Cron Meal.
Nowadays most of us are running hooms + either olucas or decimations or bitterness depending on class and its capabilities. AP doesn't significantly translate to faster time to kill (ttk) on mobs, and so we prioritize defensives/accuracy. However, after the upcoming DR changes, a lot of this durability won't be necessary, and we can slot in other things. Despite this, AP still won't be very beneficial, and the reason is simple: Crypt mobs have an insanely low DR cap which prevents most damage scaling. It's unfortunate but it is what it is. Same story at Ash btw.
You can grind Main + Lower. I have a couple of things to test, but PA patched everything that enabled the Elite Rotation :( It seems they did not like my video lol
Shortly after I revealed this method, PA nerfed almost every aspect of it. :( However, the core principles still stand. The key is to prioritize clearing elite enemies and focus on taking down the DKs quickly. By doing so, you can avoid missing spawns due to the accumulated time that results from repeatedly delaying the defeat of the DKs.
I aim to speak at a comfortable, natural pace to ensure clarity and allow viewers to absorb the information. However, I'm glad RU-vid provides playback speed options to accommodate different preferences. I, too, typically listen to content at 1.25x-1.5x depending on the speaker, so I understand completely :)
I understand the challenge of grinding all 4 rooms with Crypt's popularity. As mentioned in the video, however, the 4-room rotation is optional, and not what defines the Elite Rotation for grinding. The 'Elite Rotation' principles leverage advantages by adhering strictly to mechanics. You can apply this logic to the 2, 3, or 4 room variants. Hopefully this clarifies things, because this guide is for everyone grinding Crypt, not those strictly trying to grind 4 rooms.
