That 5c deck was an absolute masterpiece. I don't know if those were really lucky draws or something but THAT is what I want to be doing in green decks in vintage cube. (Obviously getting time walk both games is lucky, but the mana was really working too.)
There was.a brief moment when I was zoned out as the video started and then suddenly noticed we were in game one and was like just how long was I in space there
Re: the ongoing discussion of LSV's cold streak, I think it could be fixed almost entirely if they saved LSV from himself by removing just two cards from the cube: Brain Freeze and Tolarian Academy. (Not saying Academy isn't busted, but the problem is that LSV frequently goes into "the artifacts deck" before he actually has it, and the deck doesn't exist without it.)
Feell like there should have been -some- consideration for shinobi, most of the small blue creatures are pretty good at getting a hit in and between bloodstained mirr and the triome you already had 2 black sources for a potentially brutal sideboard option again combo decks. It maybe doesnt make the cut but i thought youd at least consider it over brain freeze
Leak in your play at end of r2g2: should have played the talisman after you fateseal with Jace. Don’t need the cryptic mana once you know he’s drawing pentad prism.
Profanity doesnt normally hit me, but LSV is usually wholesome... when he dropped GD my jaw dropped and my hand covered my mouth instinctively like a fragile damme... "well i never..." hahahaha. Tough beats, bro.
@@Hitzel The combo decks are not good or existent enough to have to punish with FoW. FoW is more likely to be a 1 for 2 for something one could kill with a bolt. Let someone else play it and 1 for 2 themselves. 3v3 is more about taking the 2 for 1 cards and grinding out the opponent. Phlage or Tireless Tracker seemed better.
