Some of the voting has really shocked me. I assumed West Virginia would have been one of our first states, but it wasn't. I gave up trying to figure it out a while ago ha ha!! You know, I think you are right about the territories. A lot of them are fairly small and I assume don't have many cryptid sightings. Even Puerto Rico doesn't have much. I may need to lump them all together. I also wrote down your vote.

6:00 in the morning. And about 75 yards away I saw bigfoot. We smelled it before we saw it. The smell was ripe like a dump would smell like. Then appeared out from trees and turned and look at at us. It must of been about 30 seconds of us staring at each other. He was two tone red and brown. His hair was long and was blowing in the wind a little and his eyes were black. We couldn't believe what we were seeing it was so fast and my mind was trying to absorb what we were looking at. Also it was about 7 ft tall approx. It then turned away from us and went down the steep mountain as we were on the summit. Yes the Sasquatch do exist I am a witness to seeing it. This was in Nov 1977. Believe it out not. No cell phones or body cams back then. I wish I could of recorded it. It was truly an experience I'll never forget. And never saw one since. I vote Washington next!

Thank you so much for sharing your encounter! That would have been something to experience. See, you really made my point there with the description. So many people hear dark hair, rotting smell, and small black eyes and automatically assume people are misidentifying a bear. My thing is that country folk know what animals are out there and when they see something like this they know it isn't a bear.

Back in the '60s a hunter sleeping in his camper at night had the camper rocked violently. He got out of there. This was also near Shook Mountain.

Details are fairly scarce other than this beings head was apparently frozen under the water.

I have a few theories about that story but if it was human sized then it would be something not natural.

I thought I had separated the two statements sorry I was fuming when I watched that about the Petit murders and then I cried because they were killed and then I became enraged afterwards.
