Great job on this detailed explanation!!! I knew I was getting railed in fees somehow. The fees to transfer your crypto seemed really expensive also. I am sharing this video with all my crypto friends!
New to crypto, you explain well and thanks for saving me money. Gonna compare the cheapest fee apps. Alot of these vids there in no transparency but yours are. Thanks
Wow, I was actually was thinking about getting an account with voyager. I’m so glad I found you because you saved me a ton of money. Keep up the great work!
Hi Dan, new to crypto, about to open account with voyager. Glad to see your video first. I’ve account with BlockFi. I’ll watch more of your video before I do any trades. Thanks again
Thank you very much for the detailed breakdown. This has been my biggest hurdle for trying to dabble more within the crypto world. I don't have a bunch of money to throw around normally, but enough to have some fun. Ive noticed that I've kind of screwed up and overpaid when transferring USDT to KuCoin from BinanceUS. They automatically slap on a $17 deduction when you transfer out of BinanceUS. If I had transferred the same amount of ETH, they only charge a 0.001 ETH fee to do so. I'm figuring my best route is to hope said exchange I am send to has a cheap trading pair to USDT/USDC and then trade that for whatever alt coin I'm looking for?

Great Video! Just to confirm at 6:45 you're comparing Binance's Flat Fee (0.10%) VS Voyager's Spread Fee which is variable. Is it safe to say that Binance's fees would be cheaper than other spread fee sites like Uphold?
Thanks again. I say this for every one of your videos because I really feel it. I always learn a LOT of very useful material. Today, I learned that I'd have way more money in my accounts if I would have found this video two months ago. I learned that I want to kick myself in the head.
@@FullValueDan I got more out of watching three of your videos than two months of watching every other video on YT. AND, although I lost money in exchanges before I found your vids, at least I saved almost two-hundred bucks on the model T I was about to pull the trigger on.

If you use a limit order to buy and sell on Voyager. You affectively buy and sell for zero dollars. You get your money exactly as you stated. Although you may be right now Voyager pads your order to get that 3%. So it might be frustrating that your order does not trigger at your price exactly. But you do not lose any money when eventually your trade goes through
Appreciate the video. Here's my take on the Voyager side of things.. a spread is a spread. That's how Brokers work. I don't see them as hidden fees. That's by the by though. Whilst I'm speculating here, when the Voyager loyalty programme is announced next week I fully expect there to be advantages to holding a certain amount of the VGX token, including reduced withdrawal fees, tighter spreads and better interest rates. Sure those are just educated guesses, but my point being that right now I feel like you're reviewing the most basic version of the app (which is fair enough because that's all that exists!) but it might be worth revisiting this in a few weeks time to see if the loyalty programme has addressed some of your issues. All the best!
I also believe that this year the app will get better with every update and VGX token will be worth $18 to $30 end of this year. They have several projects that I believe will send the token to moon. it's bit depressing about only receiving 970 token out 1000 that bit of gap but interest pays it back in my opinion.
Hey, if you're not well inform about bitcoin trading, instead of losing up your account you can just be buying trade signals from an expert or even allow them to manage your trade..
Hello I been fallowing you for a short period and I have learned a lot. Thank you very much for your videos. I also start trading with binance for few weeks and I notice that you could buy the same coin with different stable coins usdt, busd and btc I’m a little bit confused whit this. So what kind of coin should I use? I live in Canada 🇨🇦 thanks again in advance.
You're so correct about Voyager regarding fees and hidden fees....awful! I'd never went to Voyager if it wasn't for BinanceUS 3 weeks verification process.... so while I'll save in the future on Binance US well it costed me already money by forcing me to keep Coinbase and adding Voyager. Your video is right on point as I live it.....until my funds are finally open to withdrawal as Voyager holds your money hostage too....
You the man I just want the most out of my money my first mistake was using voyager I started with $390 sold for 851 on binance I would of sold for around 870 my Journey to $10k is not going to be easy but I am determined to get their than $100,000 next
I am on week 5 of waiting for Binance to approve me.. .just honestly just blows my mind. I got Voyager just because there were afew coins I've wanted and while having to wait for Binance they had already 2x-3x. With that said I got sick of seeing a coin priced at $10 and having to buy it at $10.30, it adds up when you spend acouple grand. Finally decided to just sell everything and buy USDT. In the process of transferring it to Kucoin but thought I'd ask before transferring which option I'd choose(ERC20, TRC20, etc). Not use to having to use exchanges that you can't directly deposit fiat to
Thanks for using some real examples coming from someone who began trading crypto using Voyager. I recently started a binance acct because Voyager didn't have the coins I wanted and the ask vs. bid pricing was really annoying. Plus I can't move my fucking VET off of Voyager to stake it ... Lastly, on Voyager there aren't really any analytics to help me make informed decisions. I end up just using binance to research anyways.

So am I correct in saying you suggest to buy and sell on Coinbase pro? So after you switched normal coinbase money to Pro, what am I using coinbase for or what is the need? please answer
Thx u for that detail info on fees. Good idea on having separate chking accounts to buy Crypto. I hv not link my bank account do to the exchange wanting my account info to login. Even if the exchange is stating they r safe, hackers r better & better at hacking theses days. To many hoops at this point to buy Crypto I'm finding. Either fees r high, needing bank info and possible hack, is the reward & risk worth it?
I am new to crypto and went with Voyager. Now I'm regretting it after seeing your video. I am waiting for advanced verification on binance. Ugh. Thanks for looking out for the noobs!
yea seems like voyager brings people in with their bonus...betting on easily making that bonus back on fees for trading and even transferring coins out
@@dahweeizme It makes sense as he mentions that if you still want to go ahead to use Voyager for the bonus, u can do so with his link. In addition, he tells u how to get the most out of that bonus. It's a win win for both parties. What's wrong with that?
Great video and very helpful! One thing that i think should be noted when deciding what exchange/platform to use is if you plan on moving the coins out (like into a wallet). Voyager and BNB have kinda high fees where as CBP is pretty low. For example, for BTC withdraw: CBP: .0000365, BNB/Voy/Arba: 0.0005 and ETH withdraw: Arba: 0.0137, BNB: 0.013 ETH, CBP: 0.001155
Thank you for helpful video.. I would like to know what are you recommended Is it ok to hold my crypto in Binance accaunt in long term around years or I should move it on Trust wallet?
Nice video. I don't disagree with what you are presenting. This is a big deal for a day to day trader but for someone who invest in the long term that doesn't really matter. Plus the ease of use of the app, the interest you earn up to 9.5% makes up for all of this. I do which we get a better spread and a better rate for the withdraws but again from my point of view as a normal person who just invest and hold for the future and gets interest on top of that, this is really fine. Nice work on the video :).
As a voyager user, I could just as easily hold long-term on binance as I can on Voyager and I really want to be able to withdraw my VET off of Voyager ...
Having access to crypto is a good start so you can start trading on kucoin with just an email and phone number. US residents can't verify their accounts so if your trading less than $2k a day you can fly under the radar. Lots of things to watch out for in trading spreads. Alternatively there's also decentralized exchanges but that can be risky for new users
Coinbase has the most users so that was to help people get started in crypto. I used it too but didn't think I traded that much, but the fees I paid is making me switch. Binance is safe and I'll have a detailed review covering all that in 2 days.
@@HertoioLoco Account applications are backed up for most of the big exchanges (including Binance) due to the flood of new users getting into cryptocurrency. Try opening up another account before closing Coinbase just to see if there may be any other delays.
I have also found out many broker advertise for free maker trade actually have hidden fee just like you said. Broker such as WeBull, Robinhood, Trade Station all advertise free maker ... I believed they all have hidden build in fee of 1%. What is your experience? Binance is now advertised that if I used your referral code to register, you automatically get referral fee " " "everytime" " " I make trade. Isnt that true also?
It's great for beginners and a gateway to turn your USD into cryptocurrency. Still has the really high fees 1.49% which is about 15x higher than Binance. The most dangerous thing for a person new to cryptocurrency is sending their coins into another wallet or exchange because any mistake will result in the coins going missing.
I think just about all the major exchanges support BTC/stablecoin trading pairs. If you'll be doing that often, Binance and Kucoin have the lowest fees at 0.1%.
can you explain how a crypto exchange is insured? Everything I've read says the exchange's dollars are insured through the FDIC. The crypto isn't insured.
In his example he says buy Tether somewhere then transfer it to KuCoin. I just tried this from Binance to KuCoin adn they want to charge an $18 fee! How is this a good strategy?
im new to this crypto stuff right now im looking for a crypto wallet app with low fees for android (binance is restricted in my country) what app should i use?
Plus Gemini has 10 free withdrawals per month. Good if you are not a "Big Fish" and want to buy with Gemini Active Trader and transfer to BlockFi for yield farming.
Dan is correct except for 1 thing. USDC coin has no fees period. No taker/maker or spread fees. If you want an easy way to send USD through AHC and get a great interest rate here is a way to do it. This has become my savings account.
The fees for crypto trading are so high. I remember on my old FX broker they PAID ME commission to trade. I arbbed that account to the moon and then left.
Crypto may be subject to FBAR reporting soon. Binance is located in the US. Kucoin is in hong kong. I am thinking through the requirements on tax reporting and how to legally keep from having to report. The current tax returns ask if you have had any holdings in crypto throughout the year. I'm foreseeing crackdown on some of this and trying to figure out some moves forward for protection of privacy. Coinbase keeps records for 5 years. Any comments are appreciated. Big banks are not happy with the bull market and I'm sure they will try to regulate more
On my crypto.com it wants to give me less value on my trades anyway I go like 100 bucks usd less trying to sell 2000 of one of my altcoins is this normal?
Ive been waiting since 3/25/21 for funds to be deposited back into my bank account. Its going on 3 weeks now. Im done with them as soon as this goes through if it ever does
It's binance.com and watch out for phishing sites. US residents can only sign up using a VPN with a country set to outside the US. Otherwise the IP gets flagged and you cannot create an account.
