I absolutely agree, there is no need to even worry, the market is not in a bubble, not in the banana zone. 2024 is an election year, so liquidity is and will continue to flow into the markets, but covertly. As for me, I keep BTC on Fybit, they give leverage on spot, which is very important in a bull phase.
Great episode- but worth clarifying, I don’t believe Chamath was necessarily claiming a “prediction” of the $500k price… rather he was just analyzing historical halving pattern data and apply that to today. Then providing commentary on the analysis. Now don’t get wrong, that chart is juicy as hell and would love for it to become reality. 😅

I was shocked when I saw Chamath pull out the charts with a sample size of 4 halvings and multiple different variables involved. Every Halving is completely different, macro trends play a huge role. Imagine comparing this halving with the 1st or 2nd halving. This isn't me being bearish at all but those Chamath charts aren't relevant.

LP Token Airdrop SOYL and PLS, LGE NFT, Coupon for RWA, Governance Token. Absolutely massive W IMO. Thoughts?
Every hypothetical Bitcoin use case I hear is something Ethereum already does. Bro, you can't be "digital gold" to billions of people when you max out at 7 transactions per second!
These kind of charts are going to set up nicely for bitcoin to ruin lives yet again. These charts conveniently do not point out the diminishing returns from previous peaks. So right around when BTC hits 115k and good portion of the markets sells their house, borrows an immense amount of money, or 50x long swap will be about the time Black Rock dumps on everyone. All the while your listing to crypto x influencers spewing this time is different. You're the difference this time.
We're half way through the bull market, it's either going to be a left translated with an earlier blow off top or a right and a longer period into 2025

It always irks me when crypto bros say "can you imagine where SOL will be whenever BTC gets to 500k." I can't. Maybe $200. Also, ETH is not Bitcoin's little brother. ETH is a different animal, different species and genes altogether! Naturally you need to expect ETH to surpass BTC. It's like a baby giraffe--you need to plan for this type of thing. Don't be alarmed if it grows taller than you the very 1st month! Totally natural. Maybe if BTC gets to 500k, that is because ETH got to 500k in 2034 or something. Black Rock, Citadel, Coinbase, JPMorgan are using ETH to go onchain. ETF's were kind of insignificant little crypto development of 2024. These people need ETH to build things with it, not just for price exposure. They will not use SOL or ICON or NEO--that much I know! (just my non-educated opinion)
If yall continue saying crypto is gonna go parabolic , eventually one of you will get it and feel like a guru . When it takes almost 0 brain to look at past cycles and see btc go up parabolically about 6 months post having . You still have 4 months of chopping up and down so the banks ( market makers can make billions per day taking out leveraged traders up and down as well as fees for 4 more months before btc begins to do a 1x .

@@AlexofCharmCity Me personally, no. But a lot of people on the finance side who follow the large caps price action consider Q4 2020 and Q1 21’ to be a lot more exciting compared to the summer time sideways action of 20’. Ex. People found ethereum more exciting at $3k than at $250.
