I watched Casey videos 3-5 years ago and they are definitely the best instruction in crypto however it’s funny how something as simple as investing can require so many steps. At the time ledger was the most secure and recommended wallets but I guess that changed. It doesn’t in-still confidence when what appears secure suddenly is hacked. I guess this happens with traditional investment as well but food for thought. I am not new to crypto but if the world is to adopt it they have to figure out an easier way.

Thanks Casey. Please allow me just to add my humble opinion: There is nothing safer than Bitcoin Core wallet; and I wonder you didn't even mention it once. I have been using Bitcoin Core wallet for the last 10 years now, always in monitored mode. I created my btc addresses offline, using rawtransactions to generate hex to send funds offline, etc. Need to know just simple knowledge, i.e. just knowing few syntax to write into the Bitcoin CoreRPC console.

Casey, I’ve watched a couple of other people who are also good at educating us newbies about Crypto, but you are definitely the easiest to understand. I think you have a knack of describing stuff in a basic way, with analogies that are relatable to the physical world things we’re used to. Such as another video where you describe Ethereum like Apple, and the dApp’s like their App Store. Or this one where you describe wallets and keys. Also, what about the third type of wallet called MVR or something where the key is split rather than hard or soft??

Great video! I'd love to see a series of shorter videos explaining Bitcoin step by step. Many folks I've spoken to are hesitant to dive in due to the complexity. Short, focused videos could make it much more accessible.

Can some of you answer a few questions for me? 1. Why is storing a seed phrase on a computer so bad? I get the issues with hacking, key loggers, etc but if we wrote the seed phrase down on a piece of paper, disconnected the computer (maybe even started in safe mode) created a encrypted drive and then stored them there. Yes you have to remember the password for the encrypted drive, but isn't that no different to remembering a seed phrase? 2. If Tangem creates a private key that you never know and only access through a passcode, isn't the point of failure now the passcode instead? Presumably people are either memorising that (again a risk) or they're writing to down somewhere, which is again a risk depending where they put it. I get that they would need to have your phone, card and pass key to steal anything, but is that the only thing making it secure? Hope those questions make sense. Just curious what the issues with different approaches are
