Thanks for this series of videos, they've served as a really helpful refresher/revision lecture, given that it's been 5 years since I studied cryptography at university.
Fantastic news! The OCB patents expired / were abandoned in 2021, and are now in the process of being included in the IETF's OpenPGP standard (and its derivative, LibrePGP, which is endorsed/followed by the GnuPG project).
I also just realised that you're the co-author of "A Graduate Course in Applied Cryptography" online! Very nice stuff, I made use of that whilst I was in university, actually!
