Careful - in hindsight, I'm pretty sure I learned the first verse riff at 0:05 wrong. I'm doing like a higher inversion in this vid, but it should be mostly on the low B string ;)
Man this is a pretty much perfect cover, i love your tone. I aswell get very nostalgic for this album and it makes me wanna watch Evil Dead for some reason.. great cover!
I still have my Blasphemy Made Flesh signed from Lord Worm and the rest of the band after all these years there kool guys to have a few beers with , metal on 🤘😎🤘
@@csabogurdon Right on, man. Long time ago, I was told of a bass player who swore that taking gelatin pills would strengthen the fingernails for that purpose. Tried it for awhile, but never noticed a difference, myself. Cheers!
Thanks, man. I just run direct and do a bunch of shit to my signal in post. Lots of compression, eq, and some drive to bring out the high end attack of the fingers striking the string
@@skeptikoi8890 Hmmm. Maybe someday. Used to listen to this whole album front to back a TON, so there are definitely other songs I'd enjoy doing. It's more a matter of free time than anything. Maybe someday...! Cheers, brother
Hey, gracias amigo! You're certainly hearing a lot of those riffs a bit differently than I am. It's tough to figure out EXACTLY what they were doing on the record, since the sound is so muddy. There was definitely some guesswork when I did my cover...hah! Cheers!
@@bassNY I looked at a tablature by guitar pro hehe, I don't know if it's correct but I feel good being able to play one of my favorite songs, and I really like your video, it's very good, saludos amigo!
@@bassNY Ah okay, thanks. Do you use Transcribe or something to isolate/slow down to get the bass parts? Going and memorizing all of that.. I'd be afraid of forgetting it, and just tab it out anyways haha.
@@ILikePeeps Not really myself, but I'd recommend using whatever tools that help you get the job done. Sometimes, I pull a song into my DAW (REAPER) and mess with the EQ to bring the bass out a bit more. In terms of memorizing stuff - I played in bands for years, so I'm used to having to remember tons of crazy stuff. But if tabbing stuff out helps you remember it, by all means...nothing wrong with that. Cheers
