The bright colors of the crystals sparkle in the light making this Crystal 2 Layer Flower Bracelet the perfect accent piece to wear with your favorite outfit.
Using two size 10 needles on about 6 feet of .006 Wildfire beading thread, pick up a clasp and let it drop to the middle of the thread. Add on 2 seed beads to each needle and let the beads drop down. Put the needles together and stick them through a crystal. Add another crystal on each needle followed by a seed bead.
Watch the Crystal 2 Layer Flower Bracelet tutorial to see how to create the ‘O’ sections of the bottom layer. Add the other end of the clasp when you’ve reached the desired length.
Create flowers with Potomac crystal bicones criss crossed over top of the Os. Reinforce the first clasp when you get to the end. Tie the threads together in a couple knots and trim the ends. Put a dab of glue on the knot.
The Crystal 2 Layer Flower Bracelet pattern can easily be changed into a festive ornament depending on the colors of crystals you choose to use. It would make a great gift for those who love a little bling.
Enjoy using this jewelry-making bead tutorial video to help you become a more creative and happier beader!

Beautiful Bracelet and Excellent Tutorial. After making my first one using the 2 needle method, I figured out how to make it using only 1 needle which still looks beautiful and is much faster and easier for me. I am definitely NOT ambidextrous, lol. Thanks for your wonderful ideas and patterns.

Dear ALLIE, I made this bracelet in a copple of colors and it turned of so beautiful,I made it in double turquoise and ab crystal, and also in crystal night and crystal ab and comet, very nice. I intend to do it in more colors. I also tried it in 6mm, and it's also pretty but looks quit a bit bigger, so it depends on how you like to wear your jewelry!!! Anyway , thank you so much for your great tutorials,you are a great teacher. xox mami

Wow that looks great. I don't think it would be EZ for someone like me but you can never tell. The only thing is if you are going to put that much money in the crystals I think I would want to use thread protectors. Just makes sense.

We would not recommend nylon cording. It is much easier to fray, crack, or break, and generally not as flexible. That is why we use Fireline or Wildfire for nearly every project.
@Potomacbeadco
@Potomacbeadco 11 лет назад
You could, it just won't lay in the same way, or as close together.
@bitykey

I find bicones to be uncomfortable on my wrist. How do you think this would look if I used Swarovski 4mm round faceted crystals?
@Potomacbeadco
@Potomacbeadco 10 лет назад
Shouldn't be a problem with that or Czech rounds, or even smooth rounds (gemstones/Czech/pearls etc.). The pattern is pretty flexible.

Is it ok to use rondelle beads instead of bicons ? Or won't it turn out as pretty ?

Could you stop at just one row instead of adding the second layer to the back?

Hey Allie, I love this bracelet idea but as I was watching I was wondering if for the top crystal maybe using a 3mm instead would look better because you would be able to see the base crystal better...do you think this would work or look okay or does it only work with 4mm all the way through ?? Thanks so much!!!
@Potomacbeadco
@Potomacbeadco 10 лет назад
Yes you can do that, it just wouldn't be as easily reversible, should you choose to wear it that way.

@Potomacbeadco
@Potomacbeadco 10 лет назад
Yes, the bracelet will just be larger and you will needs fewer total of each color.

The brand of crystal that you use in each bracelet is irrelevant, as it is the stitch that matters.

I am having issues with my crystal bicones,swarovski and the chinese. After a short while, every single bracelet that has crystals ends up breaking. I used fireline,wildfire,0.06 and 0.08.Nothing seems to fix my problem.I even reinforce the whole bracelet and only wear them while being out. Not having this problem with other beads,crystal rondelles included . I would love to try this bracelet but am scared it will end up all over the floor.

What kind of fishing line and size do u use? I am a beginner and wasting fire line.
@Potomacbeadco
@Potomacbeadco 8 лет назад
+vickie sutherland Fireline/Wildfire is what we use for almost everything. Any other type of fishing line (other than Fireline) you will probably have more problems with.

Can this bracelet be made into a necklace? if it is possible, how do you get the curve? Thanks.
@Potomacbeadco
@Potomacbeadco 9 лет назад
You can. To get the curve I would use 2 different sizes of bicones as the links between each flower... the large one going at the bottom and smaller one going at the top.
@Amoresable

What thickness of thread are you using, I was going to use fireline, but unsure which thickness to go with, can you be more specific about what you are using?
@Potomacbeadco
@Potomacbeadco 9 лет назад
We use Wildfire .006" (.015mm) for almost all projects. We find that it generally works better than Fireline, and is also a little more affordable. Wildfire Beading Thread is available here: www.potomacbeads.com/Wildfire-Beading-Thread-s/2505.htm

thank you, do you know the length needed, to make this bracelet... 4, 5, or 6 ft?
@Potomacbeadco
@Potomacbeadco 9 лет назад
Won't be more than 6. We also almost always just start with about 5-6 feet worth of thread, and just add on as needed. We also have a video called "How to Add Thread" on our channel.

PotomacBeads Yes rite but that is not what I meant, I mean how do I make a rounded necklace not a straight as a board necklace. Does this help?
@ASLBEADSMUSIC
@ASLBEADSMUSIC 5 лет назад
What I’m trying to ask is Do I add more bicones on one side in the middle of the necklace?
@ASLBEADSMUSIC
@ASLBEADSMUSIC 5 лет назад
I guess I have to figure out by myself w/o help on how to make it rounder for necklace instead of straight.
