Beautiful work and I adore the color. Reminds me of my lola's presents for me. She didn't have much, but she'd take time to make such cute keychains. I have one tiny purse that could hold a small phone and a flat wallet.

You are so lucky to have had a talented grandmother who made you beaded purses. It may not be worth much monetarily but on the sentimental side, nothing is more precious than these bags, right?! 😉
I got one of these beautiful beaded bags for Mother’s Day soooo many years back. I always looked at it like “what were these people thinking getting me this atrocity?!” This summer I had nothing else to go to beaches and pools with, besides that bag and it was a conversation and statement piece. It actually made it appear as if I am fashion forward and possibly looks expensive or custom. Ultimately, it’s now a favorite part of my summer items.

This reminded me of that time when I was a toddler and this sweet old lady, who was our neighbour, showed me a bag that was made of beads. She then asked me if I wanted one too. I said yes. A few days later, she made me a bag made of hot pink beads. It was very cute. I loved it. She also made me a little doll. Great times. I hope that lady is doing well. She was awesome.
id be so scared that I'd accidentally break it and it all falls apart and I'm left with no bag + a handful of beads and string! LOOKS AMAZING THOUGH! WORTH THE RISK
