The first combo had a lot more potential. Awakening plus bond IS full combo. Instead of summoning Ruby, he should’ve added heart, and then played heart to pop his Pegasus. At this point you would have 2 in back row; the Pegasus off the pop and then the search off of Pegasus (which for overdrive turbo needs to always be a level 3 in this scenario). Once you pop Pegasus and you can search the beacon, and then special summon carbuncle from deck, then leading you into full combo. 2 level 3’s go into Cherubini to mill the other level 3, 2 level 4’s go into Dugares to summon another Pegasus to grab another name, etc etc

Overdrive can not use its effect in combo #2. Overdrive must be fusion summoned to use its tribute effect, it's alternate summoning condition is not a fusion summon.
Mines looks almost the exact same except I use foolish goods 2x rainbow Bridge 1x obv since it's 1 per duel and the trap fusion. What's your opinion on that card since it helps bring out either rainbow dragon fusion if I'm not mistaken
Crystal beasts are soooooo freakin broken lol it's insane! Literally the whole deck surrounds easily summoning multiple 4k beaters and playing every anti meta card in the game on top of having one of the most easily broken engines ever.... It's literally so broken. Tornado dagda GG bro and straight apo boards/plays.
Question can call by the grave negate rainbow overdragon and overdrive dragon eff when they are tribute off the field to return cards field back cuz both the card arr text doesnt say it go graveyard it just say tribute active it eff to bounce everything back to hand
Question, i havent played ygo tcg since almost 10 years so idk any of the nowadays combos, but do you really cant do anything better in the first example? lets say perhaps by searching ranbow bridge of heart with awakening instead of summoning rubi, poping pegasus and searching beacon and so...? i think you will end with a bit better field that way, please correct me if im wrong or not seeing something thanks!
yeah, you can go further than that, the combo I do by searching bridge ends on apollousa with 3 negates, dweller with 1 material + both fusions, or 3 negates apollousa + i:p + both fusions + 1cb in the s/pt zone(preferably dragon). And of course, you could use the fusion without the quick effect for a 4 negates apollousa (might not be as interesting when passing with i:p, since you wouldn't have an extra monster to link with her)
You definitely do play 3 bond. You only play 1-2 if you are playing conclave control. You should also play 3 crystal master, as it acts as another searcher and can increase your chances at full combo.

The best play I have discovered with Ruby in hand (assuming you have full combo but bricked with Ruby), is whenever you get to the pop Pegasus and search part, instead of searching beacon, you search awakening to summon the carbuncle from your hand. If full combo included awakening and you’ve already used it for your turn, you could try Merit’s suggestion and just normal summon the carbuncle, but the only issue, is that without the right extender, you would be short by one name at the end of the combo. Opening Ruby can be a very tricky situation, thus explaining people’s reasoning for running her at 2; it is one of those necessary evils lol
