Not sure how repeatable this is, but I ran Korin, Rein, Lucius, Koko, Smokey and did 40% more damage with starshard than with evocation.

Did you notice if the starshard spell was able to do damage while boss was dodging? If so, I'm bringing Alsa and Rowan
