She actually used steroids and even with steroids she only participated in the preliminary round, never made it to the finals. I guess she never was that athletic. It seems like she's really out of shape here too and since she was retired from track & field by the time she joined survivor. She probably was feeling the effects of steroids withdrawals and the symptoms of steroids withdrawals is lethargy, generalized weakness, arthralgia, mood swings, and emotional labiality. Which perfectly explains her physical weakness as well as her emotional outbursts. Add also the extra weight she gained. It adds for a disastrous combination.
One of the funniest aspects of this season is that at this point of the series Jeff wanted to quit it and it shows through all of Gabon, he was SO done with everything and everyone 😭😭
For people wondering, Crystal had her medal taken away because she apparently used performance enhancing drugs during the Olympics. If I remember correctly. Regardless she was TV gold and I’m glad she did this season, Gabon is one of my favorites. It’s hilarious.
