just got 'The Sign' CD shipped from England and 'The Voyages' shipped from Japan(CD), had to get 'True North' from Japan last year.....any plans for a CD?
How these guys manage to release heavier songs while actually remaining in the thin line between metalcore and deathcore is honestly fucking amazing. Like seriously. The pits for this song played live will be legendary.
There’s no deathcore elements in this song, metalcore is a varied genre. The “heavy” breakdowns in this song extremely remind me of FFAK which is a very straightforward metalcore band. The only “deathcore” elements are the quick gravity blasts and maybe double bass parts, but I’d argue that comes from simple death metal influence, which is a huge part of metalcore anyway, after all early 2nd wave metalcore was literally just melodic deathmetal+some hardcore elements and groove metal
@@Marksman5147 yep, you're right. But that song still being heavy asf, i the vein of metalcore revival bands like Varials or Code Orange (forever phase)
This band's range is insane. They put out super incredible melodic songs like Lost in Forever, Apollo, and the Circle. Then they turn around and go full deathcore with Disobey, Mephisto, Aeon. They're all over the place and I love it!
I love how Crystal Lake are sometimes like 'let's write fun, bouncy and lighthearted metalcore track' just to turn around and be like 'LET'S SPAWN FUCKING SATAN!'
Saw them at their first ever show in America and man let me tell you, they were amazing. They sound amazing live and he has a great stage presence as well, I was highly impressed
@@jamesbearpark3794 exactly man, I was not expecting a stage presence like they had at all. Honestly I think they're one of the best all around live bands I've seen
god I love crystal lake so much, they really have a sound that is all their own, somewhere between deathcore and metalcore, and they actively avoid trying to go softer, which is just so cool. I've yet to hear a bad song from them.
@@MattyH1992 I've seen it a bunch of times. It's a good video, but crystal lake is much more consistent, like every single one of their music videos is badass.
Everyone: Crystal Lake isn't heavy enough Hold my beer: Crystal Lake Crystal Lake: ooh wii moo bee yow pee gawl ree dow knee Meat Wagon: WII WOO WII WOO Medic: OHH MYYY GODDD New Guy in the Corner: *Pukes his guts out*
I haven't listened to a lot of Crystal Lake because I wasn't totally into the few songs I've found on RU-vid. But this? I'm SO into this. It's insanity and I love it. If they have more songs like this, please let me know which ones!
Therapist: Ryo dressed as Freddie Mercury isn't real. He never will be. Ryo dressed as Freddie Mercury: 1:28 1:42 1:44 Edit: I also REALLY hope YD's guitar is okay at 1:50 because that is a Japanese Custom ESP Guitar. Not LTD. Not E-II. ESP.
There were a slew of bands they dressed as, from the looks of it. I can only imagine this is to depict rebellion against mainstream and societal expectations of not only what a band should sound like, but what they should look like, too. All of the bands they seemingly mocked were bands that all kind of look the same, and sound the same. Judas priest, Freddie mercury, guns n roses....it would be likely they don't want to go with that flow. They want to be allowed to be themselves, which I agree 💯 they should be allowed that right
Smooth aggressive approach, i like the way how it's made the whole arrangement was so much more than i never expect to see. Tho there is less on the line up of members but still i am with you guys Crystal Lake. 👊🏻💯
I swear on my life this break down is going to be one of the best in history. Been listening to this song since day 1 and I still don’t get sick of that fuck 4/4 simple break down.
