I love this cup! I have a question. How is the time making this compare to epoxy because I lost count of the costs you said you used and with 4 hours between each coat, it seems like a lot of time.

It does take me more time to make than it did with epoxy. With epoxy I could make this is like 2-3 days. With Crystalac it takes me roughly 5-7 days depending on the design of the cup and with me also working and not being able to work on them throughout the whole day.

If you get bubbles, does a heat gun help to pop them?

No you do not want to use heat with Crystalac products. You can try to pop the bubbles by smoothing the product with your fingers, blowing on them or getting a needle and pop them. I find that as long as I let all my layers dry properly and apply the right amount or Brite tone, I will not get a lot of bubbles

BT is Brite Tone. It’s an water base alternative to epoxy that is safe to use in your home. It works by applying super paper thin layers, after 4 hours the water from the Brite Tone evaporates causing the layers to harden!

The one I used in the video was one I already used a couple of times. After you use it, it will make a indentation in the dremel head. That’s why the middle of the dremel head looks curved in. Those are the exact ones I purchased!

It stands for brite tone. It’s an alternative to epoxy. I had an allergic reaction to epoxy so brite tone it way safer alternative to use.

It takes a lot of practice! I just watched a lot of videos and joined Facebook groups as well! And just do your research on the materials you use. I personally would not use epoxy in my house with the fumes. They are not good for you in the long run. Especially if there are kids in the home.
